These two situations aren't even comparable 😂. Gazef was a part of the army that Ainz was slaughtering, and Gazel isn't a part of Falmuth, so why would he break his treaty with a nation that was defending itself? 😂
Gazeff tried to talk to the king to give the land to ainz to avoid the fight at all, he asked a duel after knowing that the king would not cooperate, and he could not accept ainz's proposal and betray the king.
Well after Ainz slaughtered 170k people with a single spell, everyone there was a little mind broken. cant blame Gazef for wanting an easy way out. not to mention the insane amounts of conspiracy and political diplomacy in Overlord

People can enjoy things that are very similar or vastly different while still recognizing their differences or similarities respectively and respectfully, so try to over-simplify something that someone enjoys may seem rude and alienate potential newcomers. As an aside, if you are new/up-and-coming with content creation, avoid engaging too much with comments that are negative without justification. Save yourself the mental bandwidth. Cheers.

Slime author based his novel from Overlord that's why it's very similar... Slime monsters looked like humans though.
