Thursday, February 22nd: Snow shoes or Microspikes is your answer depending on weather, what type of snow, and how deep the snow. IMHO. Happy Trails! Ross08
Ross, we found that a combination worked the best. There was about 4 inches of fresh snow, so the snowshoes were awesome in some places and overkill in others.
Ken, nice trip today, thank you as always. I just bought snow shoes this week and look forward to trying them out over the weekend. Impressed with you and your wife using snow shoes on those narrow trails, that has to take practice. Please provide more information on this documentary project for next year, sounds like a nice opportunity for you to broaden your influence and audience .
@@rootsandpeaks TSL Highlander 2, after spending about three weeks reviewing just about every model available! Just in time for the new snow fall coming tonight into tomorrow. Take care Ken.
That loose sloppy shit I tend to just throw on the snowshoes - makes it easier than dealing with slipping and sliding. With your fogged glasses it looks like you have a bionic eye.
Gotta love the dog doing the extra distance and getting lots of exercise : ) Best of luck with your project!
He really puts in the extra miles!!! - Of you are curious about the project, subscribe. I’ll be updating throughout the year.
