      It wasn't too bad of a deal. Thankfully they had time and I got it fixed in about 6 hours and was rolling

    Twenty years ago I occasionally ran 212 from Lewiston, ID to Missoula, usually with about 35,000 in a refer, running next the river. I never noticed what a beautiful drive it was until I saw an old video from "Riding Shotgun". I was too busy not wrecking the truck to notice the scenery.😄

      @@truckerdaveandred6731 I have never driven one myself. Been retired for a few years, I wouldn't want one, if given the choice.

      I say this, they are light years ahead of where they were 20 years ago. I've driven a new one when I had to Ferry a truck for the company and it takes a little getting used to but I'll tell you this, if I was in Chicago every week I'd sure have one. It's worlds better than it was when they come out with the auto shifts back in the day.
      I just wasn't going to do it because of the overall maintenance costs involved
