Hey sir, I think there is something wrong with my ascii wifi tracefile file. The analyzing in simulation is taking a long time. Any help would be appreciated.
This is a very good tutorial. Thank you sir. I used trace metrics on the Vanet-routing-compare.cc file which input the traffic from sumo. but i can not see the delay data of the stream on trace metric. Could you please help me?
If there are any errors in the simulation also, trace metrics will take more time.. or if any new parameter which trace metrics does not understand, in that case also trace metrics will take more time.
Sir, I have modified aodv code..if I process the csv file and trace file , I am getting different values..for example, avg throughput in csv file is different, and by writing awk script for ns3 trace file value is different.. sir, can you suggest me what I should do to get same values for both in csv and trace file.
Trace files are system generated files that records the each and every thing that is happening in the simulation, whereas CSV files takes only the variables that are being sent via the function.
An receive operation (r) was founded on tracefile, but your correspondent operation of dequeue (-) was not found on line 68719 I am getting this error sir can you please explain how to remove it
What happened if im analizing the same file but it shows me that it will take too much time and never go beyond of 0% ??? It's like it take it a 23hrs then 3 hours and then 17hrs. HELP ME PLEASE PROF!
@@ashimdey7210 yes of course it's something in your setup of the code, I can't figure what is exactly, but if I errase in the .dat file all the first part and make it to look a like as in the code video, it works... but I'm still working on it.
@Lady Hadjer Yes miss, all you have to do is to open the .tr file and search for DssRate11Mbps between .../Phy/State/Tx and ns3::WifiMacHeader, its in the middle, you have to select this with the spaces and find it and replace it all with only one blank space. Then you save it and compile it again, and open it with tracemetrics ;).
@@augustofdz9818 it does execute, but the results are conflicting. The number of packets dropped always stays 0, but in reality, the efficiency of OLSR turns out to be about 50% on an average, depending on the scenario.

Are you using Tracemetrics software?? if it takes longer time, then it indicates some information int he trace file is not supported by tracemetrics
@tspradeepkumar so I found a solution that worked, I was using version 1.4.0, I downgraded to 1.3.0 and that seemed to have worked
Not executed tr file using trace metrics, what will be the solution to fixed it while followed your all steps taking very long time

Thanks, Prof.T S Pradeepkumar...we hope more new vidoes
sir, i cant copy paste data from throgput and goodput, how to resolve that?
Nice explanation...Thanks Mr. Prof.
Hi sir, tracemetrics is taking so much time in analysing trace files. Why it happens?

Sir, which one we should consider trace file results or csv file results

I am getting this error sir can you please explain how to remove it
might be packet loss as received is there and no dequeue.
How we can resoleve it

I am also facing the same problem. Have you found any solution? Please let me know. TIA

There is a source you read from it about NS3
Sir, can you please explain how to end to end packet delay using tracemetrics tool..
Sir, can you please explain how to calculate packet end to end delay using tracemetrics tool..
I have explained detailed in the first.cc file. please see that video
