I am working here in Europe and I work with a bangalorean team in which only one of them speaks kannada. So I communicate with her only in kannada because I am happy to speak my language with someone and it's more easy to explain things.

We - Kannadigas - are at fault for not upholding our language and culture. Most of us take pride in showing off that we know multiple languages and do not give an opportunity for others to learn our language. Time for us to change our mindset.
