The Two most incredible voices in the world and the most beautiful songs ever written. Andrea was late for a rehearsal of the prayer so David Foster called 17 year old Josh Groban to fill in Josh said he couldn't possibly fill in for Andrea. David' called back and said I'm not asking I'm telling lol. Of course was Josh Grobans big break . He said Celine took him under her wing that day and he did a phenomenal job.

The composition of the song itself, the meaningful words; is the best example of how pure two voices can sound in harmony - and the two of them switching between Italian and English...is the icing on the cake 👌 This is of those songs and performances that makes you think 'I cannot imagine a world without music' 🎶😔

Andrea has always been my fav opera singer. When he first sang in the US & performed "Con Te Partiro" (Time to Say Good-bye), that's when I fell in love with his music. He couldn't yet speak English, so he has come a long way. Most male opera singers start out performing pop songs in bars (it's a rite of passage); so did Andrea. I saw him perform in an Atlanta concert; he had just gotten word that his father had passed, but he knew his father would want him to continue w/the concert, so he did. He was dressed in a tux & everyone there was dressed formally. Andrea has said that he thinks that Italian female singers are the best vocally.

I LOVE this song by these two performers together. As you said, it's a masterpiece. As you also said that music can PHYSICALLY move things - including people (ie. the head bop people don't even realise they are doing at first etc.)
For me, this song (sung by these two fantastic artists) makes my heart feel like it actually expands & takes in love & peace when I hear it. It feels like (an actual) piece of heaven has entered me. I just absolutely LOVE it.
I know that other people have a similar reaction - as you see it on their faces & they say it brings them to tears.

This was filmed in Central Park!! Others have sang this one, and brilliantly - but you can't beat the original! :) And did you notice about 5 mins into your vid, the piano moves and its gonna knock Andrea, so Celine grabs his hand and pulls him slightly forward!

Who not only produced records for Celine - but also Whitney Houston, Bryan Adams, Josh Groban, and Michael Bubble. He's a total GEM - and the music industry is very lucky to have him.

Anton, great point with the drums. it's like the beginning couple verses are very soft to draw the listener into the song & the bridge w/ the drums shares invokes the energy current into the listener since the listener is already invested from the very beginning It seems is you want to draw someone into a song or conversation, speak softly drawing them in to focus & listen intently. Once you have their attention, hit them with the drums & so forth.

The voice can't break glass. I don't believe it has ever happened or been prooved.
Good instincts feeling the soundtrack vibes of this song, it was part of the "Quest For Camelot" (1998) movie soundtrack, it was nominated for an Oscar and they performed at the ceremony, but "When You Believe" from the Prince of Egypt won that year, only a Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston duet could take the Oscar from this masterpiece.
If yo didn't know Andrea is blind. His career has been remarkable.
Fabulous and flawless. David Foster is the producer for Andea, Celine and many more. Celine has a medical condition called Stiff Man's disease which causes body muscle spasms and she isn't able to perform.
