After 40 minutes of taking a card and doing nothing. "I always try to progress the game"😂
He tried hard to progress the game, lost a cap roll, had to abandon his cap, somehow got another cap and was much weaker than the players with bonuses. These are mitigating circumstances. Sure, you can always progress the game by suiciding a cap, but if you want to win you have to take opportunities to progress the game in your favour. There were none, so he was cap-stacking until someone else did something or he was strong enough to make a move.

Alca-Tuesday is back in a nearly 2 hour format! I went through the following emotions: nervousness, irritation, boredom, sleepiness, confusion, anticipation, satisfaction and settled into annoyance by the end! Fortunately the commentary made the game fun! Thanks!

When caps are in the 1000s, the game would take too long to calculate win chances. According to the Risk blitz calculator, even for caps in the 10000s, x2 is always 100%. But I understand the caution and wanting to be sure.
You'd think if that's a rule, then they could do a single check to make sure the "???" isn't at least 2x...
The most important tradition in risk has returned!
Once you were ready to hit pink, your best bet was to fortify barely enough troops one tile back from that cap, so the bot is willing to hit it. Then you're just hitting the survivors of that cap hit instead of pink's full stack
When attacking a capital when there are hundred or thousands of troops you only need about 2 times the troops to defeat it 1:48:05
at 1:43:08 you need to risk 1833 on a 1019 cap to get 100% odds (it doesn't show 100%)
1:04:24 'When the card trades are equal to pinks cap, maybe we hit pink' - pinks gets +9 every round. Assuming red also takes cards, the trades increase by +5 every round on average, so the card trades will never be equal to pinks cap, or am I missing something?

My best guess is that red was hoping to capitalize on the clash between green and pink so he wanted to keep a big stack there. If he had eliminated you he might have thought the opportunity to capitalize on green and pink clashing would pass him by so perhaps he prioritized forcing green in to pink instead of taking you out?

in the beginning when you had no cap, Red wasn't killing you because you both had a card block on White/Green/Pink at the same time, with you & Red trading in the middle but you kept giving green and white cards. You and Red would have traded forever with nobody else getting cards @ 20:23 if you continued to block white's stack, with Red blocking Green & Green's cap blocking Pink
Maybe he should have just killed you for the 5 cards, but I think he wanted the long-term advantage of having 3 players blocked while still trading cards with you

@@matousejem He & Red had a card block on all 3 players at 20:23 but he didn't see it, he was too worried about Red killing him. This could have ended a looong time ago lol

When I get card blocked, I like to "stall." It works about a third of the time. I take my whole turn using emotes and slow rolling 1 die at a time. I take about 10 actions per every 30 seconds. I have a blast, laughing when I win a die roll, crying when I lose a die roll, sounding the charge before each die roll, blowing raspberries, and generally have a fun time. Off turn there are also many emotes one can play. I am very busy when I "stall," and salvage a lot of fun.

@@varietypaul Openly admitting to using the Emotes that SMG sold me is bad Risk play? You need to report to SMG that people who purchase Emotes from them are actually using them and you think that is wrong.
Using Emotes when you have a chance to win and give your opponents info about your position is simply stupid tactics on your part. But, once the game is lost and having fun using all the silly Emotes is tactically sound.
It saddens me that you think that playing tactically sound when necessary and having fun when it is harmless to one's position is anathema to you. You are truly a sad human being who has no joy in your life. You have my pity.
