This is BY FAR the best PRACTICAL and easily followed troubleshooting guide on TH-cam. It helped me fix my $600 Amazon special. Thank you sir! Liked and subbed unlike some of these other ungrateful viewers. I know how much of a pain it is to take something apart just to educate the masses.
I am glad it helped someone up there. There are few more videos about this scooter, Including how to modify it for more comfortable abd safe driving, just click on a Playlist and choose Cobra scooter , if you ever wish to check it out. Stay safe!
@werdna2602 If you are confident that your scooter using exactly same brand of a controller and all wiring color codes are the same on throttle handle side and controller side , than follow my videos and you should be able to narrow down the problem .
@werdna2602 Make sure you have minimum of 38v from a battery pack plug. And if controller still don't respond by jumping wire as shown on the video , than you need new controller
Got a brand new t walker scooter only rode a couple of yards then left in the bedroom for 15 months will the batteries need replacing green light is showing on the charger but nothing on the display
@You-can-fix-it thanks for your help don't no if it is worth doing as they are £150-£200 to replace the scooter cost £400 and is still brand new so can't decide what to do thanks for sharing your knowledge great video's
Gio, This is an excellent video, it helped me figure out what is wrong with my Ezip 750. When I turned it on, the power light came on but when I turned the throttle, the motor would not start. I unplugged the motor from the power control module and temporarily connected the motor directly to the battery like you showed in your video and it kicked in so I was glad that the motor was good. Next, I disconnected the labeled brake connection from the power controller and when I turned the throttle, the motor kicked on. So apparently there is an issue with the brake switch on mine - I don't know how to repair it yet but at least the scooter is working. Thanks for the video.
I am glad it helped. In your case you need to replace brake handle inner sensor ( if sold separately), or entire brake handle that will come with installed sensor already

Yes, you need to replace batteries , as they get self discharged to zero after 5-6 month of sitting without charger
