      Thanks and I couldn't agree more. Otherwise it leaves you outside a bridge trying to smack your mast with a winch handle to ring their bell.

    Wonder if the dinghy could be inverted, bottom on top, and suspended from the davits to avoid water collection. Thank you.

      That's a good thought. but then I would need a way to turn it back over. Hmmm, I'll think on that.

      If you cannot find some appropriate mounting hardware, might consider adding additional drainage holes to the dinghy.
