Those first 2 albums from Crimson Glory are still being talked about as some of the best albums of their time by people who even know who they are. How they didn't make it exponentially bigger is a mystery.
You might be interested in a band called Lethal. They sound like a mix of Queensryche and Crimson Glory, especially on their 1990 debut album Programmed.
Crimson glory wins in my opinion, guitar by Jon drenning and vocals by midnight are just amazing.. may not be as versatile as queensrche but the skill is beyond that of queensryche. Love both bands tho!!
