Chainsaw Carving A Barn Owl In A Wood Slab!

It's Tuesday, Time for a chainsaw carving video! This week I will be chainsaw carving a sculpture of a barn owl in a slab of wood. The wood slab is 4 ft. tall 3 in. thick and is white pine. Hi Chad, I like the owl! Is that just regular acrylic craft paint thinned down? That would be a cool how to video!

Yes it's acrylic paint. Then I put 3 coats is spar varnish over top to protect the carving. Thanks for watching and subscribing!!

How ever...nice video and Sculpture! when do you make details,the chainsaw run full power? what about che chain? is it well sharped as for felling trees or a bit blunt?What about sharpen technique ; is the file at 25 °or 30° ? Thanks if you answer. i'm following you from Italy
