I came back over to watch this video again after watching your latest bushcraft video with Maverick. This is an awesome video and I hope the views catch up. Great job, and this is totally on my bucket list now!
Thanks!
Loving the video’s! Showing some love from North East Ohio!
Hell yeah! Way to conquer that beast!
Loving the congratulatory summit beers! 🍻 🍺
Thank you so much for a great video. Super helpful for the mental prep. Looking forward to tackling it this summer. So far I have Pikes Peak and Long's Peak under my belt. It will be a nice reprieve from the technical but I've got some work to do to get ready for this one physically - being a flatlander I have fared pretty well, but you never know when that altitude's going to have its way with you. Great job and all the best to you and your hiker buddies!
Came back to help you with the ol' algorithm. This was an amazing series, looking forward to your next epic trip!
Thanks man. Appreciate it
Great video Bryce! Glad to see you were able to make it to the top. My favorite TH-cam backpacker, keep it up brother!
Apparently I forgot to comment on this one, but I do have to say I absolutely love the music you put with your videos, paired with the amazing views you capture it's just SO. DAMN. CINEMATIC!
Thanks man! Cinematic is what I was going for 😄. Finding royalty free music I like is not easy. Lol
Dude some awesome shots in this one
Nice. I did the South Trail from the upper 4 wheel drive trail head on September 8th 2022. Perfect weather. The hike down was more sketchy then the hike up, imo.
Colorado is my favorite place to hike & I hope to do the Colorado Trail. You did a great job filming & editing. Those views were amazing.
Thanks Kevin. I absolutely love it out there. It's perfect
Great editing of the drone footage! 👍
Thanks Daniel!
Sweet hike, video!
Awesome.
Awesome experience for sure ,wow
Hi I just did it, though I don’t remember seeing the trails you took. I did south ridge hike and I think it was even steeper of a climb. I trust you faired well!
What an awesome mountain and experience you guys had! I love the Schill brothers and I've been watching for a long time but I got to be honest you make better videos.. 😁
i ran Elbert in 1hour46 mins. From the trailhead to the top. Going back this summer! Cant wait.
That's insane. Nice!
@@BryceNewbold hell yeah. Keep going treks, i like the channel!
Badass dude, badass!
That's awesome man, that's a huge climb. I've had altitude issues before, and it's no joke to tough it out to the top
Thanks! My first time having those issues.
WOW...awesome!
I watched this the night after doing it!
I don’t know why this is’n’t getting views. It’s beautiful up there. & Kevin saying leave that shit in there & you saying “ for more of this shit “ was perfect. Sorry the altitude harshed your gig. But as always, you plowed through
🤣🤣
I'm not sure if you mention it in the video, but was this steep?😂 Great drone shot!
I love the musics you feature in your movies, could provide links to the pieces played?
Ok, just watched it. You know what's funny? I didn't watch the Shill Bros peak bagging video yet either. Just catching up on videos during the off season..... Actually peak season for me since I live in TX. Hoping to get out in a couple weeks. I just got back from Vail, usually the altitude doesn't really bother me. This time,I'm not sure if it was my allergies but I had a rough time breathing all week.
13,800 ft I took a 45 minute nap in the flowers lol. Followed by another at the top on that single flat rock
that sounds wonderful. haha.. and i see why someone would do that. that was a tough hike
The elevation was giving everyone the shit giggles!!
Lol
I’m hoping to hike here this September. How many days should I try to acclimate before climbing? I have good cardio but I am doubtful walking slower will offset the altitude.
Not sure honestly. I don't acclimate. It's risky. Doing it in 4 days 😬
@@BryceNewbold good luck. Let me know how it goes
How did it go? I’m taking this hike in a week and feel well trained, but still nervous about the altitude
protect ya neck, nuun-tang
Lol
Was bartender at scarlet inn Leadville. It's all up
Are you saying u were the bartender when we were there?
@@BryceNewbold no worked there for 3 years.a bit of time ago
👍👍👍👍
How does alcohol help? You said that in one of your videos.
Oh no no... I was totally being sarcastic and joking. Lol. 😆. Sorry I don't always make myself clear but I'm very sarcastic
@@BryceNewbold lol
Man, if you tripped going down hill you wouldn't stop rolling for miles.
Have you been to the highest points in any other states?
