Hi there, I think it look nice. It looks like the back of a double crochet stitch. So if you don't mind what the back of a double crochet stitch looks like. I think you'll like this stitch.
Hi there, so you want to work your next stitch, but don't complete the last part of the stitch. In this case it would be a double crochet, so work your double crochet, but before you yarn over and pull through your last two loops, add your new yarn by draping it over the hook, and finishing the last step of making the double crochet. I find this the easiest way of doing it. You could also add a new piece of yarn by making an invisible knot. I hope that helps!
Hi there, thanks for your question. So it really doesn't matter what corner you start on when making a border. I always like starting on top because the stitches are easier to find, but you can easily work the side corner first as well. 😊
Great video! So helpful! Thank you!
You're welcome! I'm glad the video tutorial was helpful. 😊✨

Can you do multiple rows of the double crochet to make a thicker boarder around the blanket?
Absolutely! Once you finish one round, you would chain 3 and repeat what you did for the first round.
@@JewelsandJones I’ve done that because sometimes one row isn’t enough. Excellent video-I needed a refresher!
Great tutorial thank you

How do I change to a new roll of yarn in the middle of this double crochet border?

Which corner should I start the border? Does it matter or no?
