cool video! I was there in Scotia and North Loup, Nebraska and enjoyed railfanning there while visiting friends there. I know it wasnt much railroading going on but it was nice to see the SD-40-2's sitting there near the grain elevators in North Loup.
Hello. The narrator for this video was Don Grant. He does have a very similar voice to the Pentrex narrator, but they are not the same person. Thank you for watching!
What is that line between the old Cornhusker Ordnance Plant, and the main line UP? It's been many years, but there was a yard there in the old plant. Last time I was there, I didn't see UPRR on their stuff but don't remember what it was.
I would like to see a newer updated video since the Nebraska Northeastern is no more. Now, you see BNSF modern power with 110 car grain trains, ethanol, and now wind turbine trains carrying all the wind turbine parts for assembling the towers.
Cool trains
Thank you!
0:55 "We catch a train heading east... from Osmond to Allen, hauling popcorn and ethanol."
Woohoo! PARTY IN ALLEN!!
Good one!!!! LOL
Amazing
Thank you!!!
Nebraska Central 4200 still has it's original horn from the MKT railroad.
Great observation!
Awesome video. I am originally from NE but in the military now. Love seeing railroads from NE. NE is a good place if you like trains.

Awesome Chris!! Looks really intersesting!!
Very nice! I'd like to find more video of ILS power on the Dakota Northern railroad.
NENE #120 is former LTEX 9965! Glad I finally found a video of this unit in action.
Seems like narrator is the same guy who narrates for Pentrex??

Wow ex-CP, ex,KCS, and ex UP's Southern pacific SD45-2 T
Osmond :)
I sure miss all the short lines. A shame how the Union Pacific etc sucked everything up.
I would like to take a ride on a passenger train if there are any there which make short trips.
