Great interview. Owen has certainly worked wonders with this horse and must have taken a lot of patience to get him back.
I just love the way Hukum moves and you know, come the time it's going to kick into overdrive once asked for maximum effort.
Arc should be right up this horses street - a battler that can also show that change of gear on soft ground.
not a prayer he wins the arc,only 8 5yo have won it .there is now way he si the best middle distance horse in europe. 3yo,s win it this year, ace impact,feed the flame, savethelastdance
@@thegamblingzone-ql1vj Savethelastdance would need to start now to win an Arc. Hukum would absolutely destroy the other 2 you mention. The 3yos are a pretty grim bunch this season.

That seems a weird point as he either wins or not. The Sea the Stars is the more interesting part.
Then the bookies are just lapping up the French favourite. It's like sucking in the cash. Obviously they take all the money on the "Favourite" but hope he loses. Do they give a shit the horse that will really win.
Me personally I would have Hukum /5/1, Westover 6/1, Emily 8/1, All those French horses imbetween. Feed the FLame and so on. Savethelastdance 12/1 as she loves mud. Luxembourg 12/1.

His form is good enough, the distance and ground will be perfect for him there should be no excuses for him to finish top 3

C'mon guys we ain't beating the French horses this year. If Ace Impact doesn't rely on coming from too far behind then he has too much turn of foot like Dancing Brave on the outside. The French filly will be too strong too. I think they'll get a 1-2-3 this year. Hope not.
Now you said it. He has 1m2f pace. So he usually kicks at 1mile the other 3yo Colts are getting tired.
The Arc will be a brutal pace and he will be stuck in the pack.
Hukum and Westover will be gone for home before he even gets going.
So he ends up 7th or 8th.
He will be finishing beside Freewind and Emily Dickinson.
