The beans are out. I've observed it too started last year, once my winning rate reaches 60% or so, the match up always favor the opponent, until i reach around 55% or so. Right now, i do have fluctuating 4.1k to 4.3k with most of the time i get matched up with unbalanced team to make my 60+ win rate go down. Like the most obvious was this morning match, where we only have one 9k reso player on my team against two 10k reso on the other team, we didn't even able to activate the zealous

I noticed this as well. Yesterday i was on a 6 win streak and then suddenly got matched with 10k reso guy with no whale on our side. And today as well 3 games won then as u said, stupid team comps just to reduce the win rate. I feel they try to keep win rate from 50-60%. Might depend on region. In my region most people are around that. Btw, i also got compensation for that 10k res imbalance match, but still my win rate was affected, which i think should not have been altered

All companies now use Engagement based matchmaking. This is different to skill based match making which was used since inception of multiplayer games, think old school cod. EBMM will make your matches harder the more you win so you don't get bored of the game, thinking it's too easy. Vice versa, if you are getting beat hard, you'll be put on a v strong team or pitched against lower reso so you feel overpowered. Again, keeping you engaged. They literally are adjusting our dopamine levels remotely 😂
This is old news and has been known since the early days of the game. Blizzard holds a patent on their matchmaking algorithm. When one files for a patent, they must state why it should be patented. In the paperwork submitted when they applied for the patent, and in the patent document itself, it states that it is "MTX-driven" (MTX is short for Micro Transaction).
For once I feel like that isnt happening to me. Currently I have an 80% win rate (granted im only silver 2), but all the matches have been pretty fair. But I've only been BGing at night
Fu*k BG. I wish The Conqueror to be not temporary, periodicaly returning event, but permanent PvP mode. It's much better. I am DH and it dosen't matter if I play Conqueror with strafe/glasscanon build or with static summons or with the new summons. I learn how to play all this builds and with right combination of leg gems and sets my kill rate and win rate is much better than ever was in BG. Low spender btw

Agreed. Been like this since start averaging at 48%~50% win rate. But still you can get to legend its just patience

It usually really starts to kick ur ass around Gold 2 to 4. 73% until gold 3 last season.
