They recommended it due to people crying about it being gassy. I prefer full-size cans over k’s. Want to most suppression possible but I do get why they are popular!
Don't count on getting approved in 24 hours. I just had to wait 60 days for mine. Had to contact my congressional representatives to light a direct fire under the ATF's butt cheeks, and it was approved 3 days after I gave them my consent to look into it.
You have to turn the gas all the way down so it won’t operate properly without a can, making it only operate with a can. Hard pass, you can build a rifle that works with or without a can with little gas blow back and run very smooth…
With a classic stacked baffle suppressor like the polo, it’s kinda hard to have both. It can be done with the brt ez tune gas tube but usually it’s either keep gas to the minimum and kill off most of the gases or open it up and get gassed out. Now, with a flow through can, you can have both but you suffer in good suppression.
@@kilo1official I would just get the flow through can and throw it on a 12.5 piston rifle like lwrc offers, or an sbr scar16 and go have some fun with that three position setting and not worry about what ammo or reliability, but that’s just me
Flow through is great and all and but the point being is the polo has great suppression. It’s either great suppression or okay suppression with less gas. Now the gas was turned all the way off, but was backed off a little. Now it works perfectly fine with a can. This can is going to live on the 11.5”. If you do a piston upper, that’s a great upper but even with conventional baffled can, you’re still going to have to work on tuning the gb unless you get the flow through but then your sacrificing suppression over but gaining less gas to the face
@@kilo1official The suppression rating according to pewscience is comparable to that of unconventional "flowthrough" cans such as CAT WB718 utilizing their surge bypass technology. Additionally, many of these "flowthrough" suppressors or reduced backpressure from CGS/SureFire for example include flash hider end caps which provide superior signature reduction over something like the polonium. OCL makes a great can for cheap but if you actually want the "best" can out there, OCL isn't even in the running.
@@shanielsonI don't think he said best just that its hard to beat. Flow through are loud as hell polonium 5 I've ran with a super safety and was comfortable as hell gas wasn't even that bad with an h3 buffer for $500 hard to beat. Might even say it's the "best" can for $500
The k on a full length rifle makes more sense length wise and suppresses very well "Theres no reason to get the k" is the worst take ive heard in a while it performs great
“I adjusted the gas all the way down and used an H2 buffer” my brother in Christ that is nothing new
Yeah, unfortunately there are a bunch of people who don’t understand this concept and still cry over a bit of gas to their face.
Did he say it was something new? Just wanted to be a lil c***?
Even OCL recommends the the K over the full size. I
Might get the full size too. Love my Polo K

@@kilo1official 556 tone & flash all day for me.
As long as your happy brother, that’s what really matters!

I did the same after about a week 😂. I know I know, I’m impatient!
