    Great idea. I just moved into a place and I think the roommates are tampering with my food. I don't want to damage anything. Thanks!

    I only clicked to watch the mixing of the epoxy which you skipped over... Also questioned if you had mixed enough product, but it appears to have resulted in a precision job!

    Why did you use the epoxy for? If I understoos you still used screws? For the air to not go inside?

    I actually have the same kind of parts as you when it comes to the screws etc. but if i choose not to use the screws, do i use that sticky stuff you put on those two pieces? Is that silicone?

    • @DIYTechnician

      I screwed it in with a little epoxy on the back and then around the edges after it was screwed in

    My mom has dementia she is strong as an ox. I been asking for a sealant and everyone acting dumb! What is this 50/50 mixture? Please help

    • @DIYTechnician
      @DIYTechnician  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I hear ya:) the 50/50 mixture is just taking half part on one and adding it to the exact same amount of the other, half and half sort of speak. No need to use the whole thing but maybe just a quarter coin size of one and a quarter coin size or the other and mix it together. Half and half and doesn’t matter how much of each just equal parts of each. Doesn’t have to be precise but just close. Hope this helps. Hit me up if any more questions

    I did this today using Gorilla two part glue. It seems to have worked but mi 17 year old autistic boy is clever, or mean, enough to hammer at it. If it seems solid in the morning, I'm doing the freezer. I bought a 10 cubic ft frost free fridge to to keep our butter, sauces, drinks and clean ice and anything else he taints on a regular basis. He'll have his own fridge.

    • @DIYTechnician
      @DIYTechnician  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great idea. So you may want to reinforce it with a two part epoxy since he’s smart enough to try to pry it off, I’m afraid gorilla glue may break free if given a fair amount of force with a tool or tools. Thanks for letting me know! Great to hear this helped.
