You had a great haul Diane! I loved every minute of this video! I'm so excited to know that Constance is the right pattern for the dress! That's one of the ones I'm most excited about!! :)
I'm excited to share with those that are interested ! Where do you get the random comment picker you and everyone uses ? I looked at the play store and didn't see it. I'm not good with any of this kind of stuff. Thanks for watching Julie and always being so nice !!
Did you see the brown dolls too? I've never bid on something before. I was so excited, I almost cried, I guess that would be funny to some people, but I wanted them so bad, I didn't think I would get them
@@carolbeck3645 , yes but i was after the more adult or teen 15" dolls. I only want one mabe two. I was on amazon n poof a wk later they were baisically gone! So i went to ebay, which im not set up for. Going to have to correct that with my tech savy kids, lol. Yep, thats where they all went! But there's another site i seen called nitlikes i think, could be wrong about the name. I baisically want the doll for manequin purposes, to compare with my 18" mylifedoll too. I have only been crotcheting about 4 or 5 years now. I have the time now, lol. So in that time i found out i like to change the pattern to make something fit. Im not too worried about some of the patterns being for 12" dolls, think i have four of those; as i can adjust to upsize fit. My littles aka g-daughters r pretty young so i get to make these for a long time. Plus the mom seems to like these too. I bought yarn in the colors she likes just make a special one for her but not in the mylifedoll size. That one you have already makes me shiver with excitement its absolutely georgeous❣ I looked for that pattern, 😝 n got it!!
@@carolbeck3645 , guess i should say that my paypal is messed up, probably because i dont use it n its finnicky. So my hubby buys for me. Except he says x amount of dollars is too much for a doll when shipping is ten plus more. So i scan for sales. In the mean time more patterns keep showing up, lol.
You know, i think your starting up a renewed trend! Im so close to being done with the outfit for 18" doll. I finally mastered tiny crochet flowers, n just recently tiny bows. Holy cow tiny bows were meant for small hands, lol. Micro crochet too for that matter, 😐. But i found a crab stitch rose that gives me the flat bottom to sew it on or fabric glue. I never did get down to a zero needle, but close enough. I have to make a second outfit, (cant slight the other g-daughter) but it will go much faster this time. First one is mint/dark teal. The second will be pink two-toned. I spruced up the hoop slip with dark teal edgeing n matching bows along the bottom. The second hoop skirt will be pink n white, pink ruffle at the bottom will be anyway. So glad i picked two plastic water line tubing from the hardware. I just used a pipecleaner n fabric glue to get it together. Btw, gorrilla glue is the strongest fabric glue, i found out. Will have to tell mom not to dry in the dryer tho. I think on the next hoop part i will find chop stick n fabric glue. That 1/8th inch water line tubing is flexible but pipe cleaners r even more so. I poured the glue in the tubing then folded the chenille wire, mabe i should have folded again. Then glued again around the seam. If i taped it would come off in the wash. Little girls will have dirty hands, cant be helped. Tho i will pass on that air fluff works good for those of us that take care.
Yeah, after a while, my doll's dress and hat would get so dusty. So I tried slipping her clothes off and her hat, and putting them in the dryer on no heat for acouple of minutes and they came out looking new. When I bought her, she already had bows and flowers glued all over, so I knew I couldn't just wash and dry them. Anyway, thanks so much for watching and commenting 💕 See you next time !
Great job finding those patterns. I have just found your channel from Julie and I am loving it. I have to admit that the vintage patterns have captured my passion. I definitely think you should do a giveaway of the duplicates. I don't normally enter giveaways, but I would this time. Thanks for sharing everything with us.
Thank you Grace, I'm thinking about putting acouple of my brown dolls in. I have to find out how much shipping is, and I'll see what I can do. Thanks for watching !!
Hi Diane, I've been subscribed for a few months on my personal account but I don't think I've ever commented. I am usually working while I listen. I would definitely be interested in your giveaway. I want to look up the pattern of the little soldier man but I couldn't make out the name. How can I find that pattern? Thanks, Kate
His name is 1776 Patriot, and I was thinking about putting him in, because I didn't think I would end up making him. And thanks for watching, I hope you enjoy seeing my projects !
I was thinking last nite, about sending you the Patriot pattern instead of putting him in the giveaway. Do you have a P.O. box? If you don't, and you don't care, I could send him right to you. I would like to try to next week if we don't head out of town for my husband's work. Just let me know... talk to you soon !
@@carolbeck3645 my boys make things with me and it's hard to find patterns that aren't girly. I have a lot of doll patterns for their sister and I know they'll be so excited
Beautiful patterns 💃🏼
Thank you and thanks for watching !!
I would definitely be interested in a giveaway for the patterns. You got such a great deal on those dolls. That's awesome.
Thanks, and thanks for watching and commenting, I appreciate it !
