That actor was John Elliott . He was doing a Foster Brooks type routine. I did see Foster Brooks in one of these old western movies. He was a drunk in a jail-cell.

A better Bill Cody picture. The acting is uneven - I think Bill was favored more for his name than his looks or acting!
