@@RozeBeauty318I had some press on nails that had a chrome layer on top of them and I tried to apply a gel top coat, but it beaded up and would not cure. Any tips? @@ashleyadams9874 Hey love! 💕 Try rubbing the nail with alcohol then using a primer. After that go in with a good base and top coat to seal in the design. I would practice it on one of the press ons that are too small for you so you don't ruin your good sizes. Let me know how that works for you.

Thank you! 💕 With this method the only way to remove the press ons is to soak off with acetone. If you want to be able to preserve the press ons, I would recommend using a peel off base first. I'll link to my favorite one below. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching. 🥰 Murron Peel Off Base: amzn.to/46QsKkE
I'm so glad you mentioned you used a peel off base coat the last time you used these because I was wondering if that was the reason for my problems using BT art box. Ive never had a problem with any other tips, but I used these when testing out different peel off base coats and different solid glue gels. I used primer with the peel off base coats since I find it helps with better adhesion and I just have to kind of peel them off instead of popping them off. But some of them just didn't feel attached firmly. I wonder if you have to use their specific nail glue?
Hey love! 💕 If you want the best longevity with your nails I would not use peel off base at all. If you are wanting longevity with a easy removal process, then I do the same as you with using primer and a gel/UV peel off base. That should not have your nails feeling loose though. I know the BTArtBox solid nail glue is really good but again if your using peel off then any nail glue you use as the potential to lift prematurely. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching! 🥰
Hey love! 💕 Yes you can just be sure that the press ons are some what translucent (think French tips or jelly nails) so that the light can penetrate the nail and cure the gel. 💅🏾 Let me know how this method works for you. Thanks for watching! 🥰

Question.. I just used this gel for the first time. Last night.. I have spillage underneath my gel nails.. What is the best way to remove without damage. Thank you in advance
Great video. I looked into the solid glue for myself after watching your video, and it says in their instructions to use only with clear nails, because UV Light won't cure through opaque nails.
Hey love! 💕 The nails I used in the video aren’t fully opaque so the light can still penetrate through to cure the nail. The BTArtBox press ons are specifically designed to be used with their nail glue. It’s part of the kit. But the solid nail glue should not be used with fully opaque nails as the gel will not cure. Hope that makes sense. Thanks for watching. 🥰

Hey love! 💕 No it doesn't. The solid nail glue will not work on nails that are fully opaque. They only work on nails that are transparent (think french tips or jelly nails). A good way to know is if you can see your natural nail through the press on, then it should be ok to apply with gel. If you can't see your natural nail through the press on, then it would not be good to apply with gel. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching! 🥰

Hi Roze - I am noticing a dark line on your middle finger. You may want to go get that checked - its a telltale symptom of melanoma on the nailbed. I didn't notice it on videos from a year ago, but did start noticing it a few months ago and its getting darker.
Actually these lines are common in black people.... I've had them on a few nails since childhood (doctors ignorantly thought it was fungus), my mom has them, my daughter has a couple, and my brother has a few as well. Over the years some of mine have gotten thicker and some have gone away. It's just melanin.
@@arianneess47hey black people can get cancer too just because it's like this for you and your family doesn't mean it's the same for everybody. not to mention moles everywhere else on the body can become/grow naturally and be cancerous. i truthfully don't mean to be rude and i don't think it was correct for your doctor to call it fungus but please don't just be dismissing stuff because of what you and others commonly deal with...
Although, the finish product is so pretty, I wouldn’t recommend using “uv glue” on press-ons because you can develop allergic reactions to all gel products if the gel doesn’t cure all the way.
Hey love! 💕 This method is designed to work on nails that are not fully opaque (ex. French tips, jelly nails, etc).
