hello it's been awhile, am so glad to be back with this special project. today's project is a collaboration with Chantal from darkest raven designs, out theam was a steampunk balloon, which if been working on for the last 2 months. this is by far my most ambitious project that I have attempted and am in love with the finished result. Hi, I came over from Darkest Raven Designs. Old clothes from thrift stores is the best way to find unique fabric for miniatures and such. I do it all the time.

Now I feel the need to make something Steampunk!
Welcome and thank you, its the first #steampunk project I have ever made, am so happy with the results, its also made me want to do more steampunk crafts, planning on making a steampunk doll at some point :)
I came over also from Chantal’s channel. I love the end result but was a bit disappointed not to see how you made the ladder and control panel and how you attached everything inside, you can show all of that but speed up the footage with music or a voiceover as we watch it. Sometimes it’s good to see how intricate things are made and how much attention to detail. It satisfies the soul 😊
Hi Charolotte, thank you for youf comment. I can completely understand about wanting to see me do everything, normally I do a full step by step in my video's, but I was having real trouble with this one. I actually edited the video 5 different times, every time it went over 19 minutes, it started to jump and wouldn't run properly. 3 hours before the video went live, I had to start editing it again from scratch, i had to take a lot out which I was so upset about, but it was that or no video. I would of liked to have done it into parts but because if the collaboration I put it in one. I will do better in the future:)

Aww thank you Lori, am so glad you like it. I always try and use things people can find easily and are cheap to buy. My favourite things to use are cardboard and popsicle sticks :) x

As for the foam, or something I saw quite a while ago and wanted to try out. Am really glad I do as I love the effect it gave and I'll definiaty be doing more with foam in the future :) xxx
I came from Chantels Chanel..I am pleased I did now ..This is absolutely wonderful.I love all the intricate details..Very well thought out and beautifully made..Such a Gorgeous piece of art..I hope you can hang it up and display it after all that work.You could have tied them together sideways with leather laces .But I lov how it turned out 🥰

I am so glad you like the balloon, it has been one of my favourite projects that I have made, and was well worth all the time and effort. Originally my idea was to attach them side by side as you suggested, at the time unfortunately I didn't have a small drill to be able to put holes in the side of the balloon so I could tie them together, but I do now do might have a go at it again. Hope your having a wounder week 😊

Welcome and thank you. Am so glad I took the time to do the pipe work, it took forever waiting for the pipes to dry, could only do a couple at a time so I could stick them in place and them measure the next few, but was well worth it in the end 😃

Very nice and beautiful build The Balloon looks awesome but very crowded, there is very limited room to work for a crew and no place to rest/live while on flight...
Thank you, originally I was hoping to put their furnes and control panel in one side and then I was going to do the living quarters on the other, but there just wasn't enough space :( but your totally right there really could of done with some space for the crew :)
