I always told my daughter , when she was a baby, to tell me a baby story. She would coo and gurgle and laugh. Those days end too soon. My baby is 50 now.

Its so important what she is doing with baby. Normal conversation not baby talk, will yield good results. Many parents leave their kids in front of loud TV. Good job mom!

@@happyface9000 , right... babies are inherently adorable. It is a survival method that is nature driven. While she is totally absorbed with this infant , the older child is absolutely ignored. This poor child could develop resentments toward this sibling and maybe his mother for shutting him out. Mom could go do other mom things and let this older sibling fall in love with the baby, by talking to him and sharing a special moment.

My son was lying in my arms, his face & eyes were fixated on my face & eyes. For about half an hour I talked to him & he also made noises, trying to talk. I actually lost all sense of where I was, & the other mums & babies. We were totally wrapped up in our own little world. I did not speak baby talk either. It was a precious time I will never forget. He never took his eyes off me, he didn't cry or wriggle he just lay in my arms & kept 'talking' & I responded.

Lovely to see her interacting with the baby, we should talk to babies. I just wish she would have reacted to the other child as well. They all need attention.

The mom could definitely have stopped talking to the baby for a minute and listened to the other child. It wouldn't have ruined anything. She's not filming a big budget movie.

@@TheWeibell people love to find fault where there is none. It’s nut about a big budget movie it’s about time well be spent and focus. Baby gets his mind to. Why not⁉️. The older child already talking can wait. When you have multiple children , they have to learn to share and take turns. Mom cannot be all things to everyone all at the same time. That’s why it’s called family. Dad is there, too.
