She still can sing. I’m convinced after that Instagram video she posted belting and the other one of baby one more time 2022. I wonder how she agreed with the label to do the whole baby voice in which she didn’t mind back then. But after the Instagram videos it shows me she was held back so much vocally
soubrette soprano with heavy vocal damage but she still has potential and her lows are still very powerful, even the g5s she was belting on ig were so strong, she just has less and less control overtime, like whenever she'd sing everytime on the onyx hotel tour she had to transition everytime from chest to get into that falsetto & the ease & control is nowhere to be found :/
Support is a breath management skill, but to answer your question yes her belts are free. She seems to be consistent up to A4/Bb4 but she has some free B4s and C5s too.
Her Ease seems clearly Eb3-Bb4-Eb5 which tells me she's a Mezzo. Her belts aren't very "meaty" in volume, so she's obviously a Light Lyric Mezzo. Full Lyric Mezzo are the Adele's and P!nk . That being said her singing in opera those G5's and A5 shows she has some moderate agility in her voice.
Britney was never a mezzo, she has no depth in her voice whatsoever if you compare her with real mezzoes (like Adele, for example and even Adele is a light mezzo with bright voice), even Mariah can sing lower than this and she's a soprano. Britney just never really had some sort of solid vocal training after 1999 to allow her to belt higher with such nasal fake approach she used to have, but if you look at her younger clips with E5 and an F#5 - literally just a classic soprano voice, head voice sounds like typical soprano voice would sound as well, I see nothing mezzoish in her voice. Also get rid of those "light-lyric" (which isn't even a real fach to begin with), full-lyric stuff, it doesn't represents anything in contemporary music.
Certainly a Lyric. Only question is if she is a Light Lyric, regular Lyric or Full Lyric. Definitely a Mezzo-Soprano you can heart it whenever she sings ballads. Very comfortable in singing those ballads and when singing G4-C5: I’m Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman; Don’t Let Me Be The Last To Know and From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart.
@@love2lovebrit497 These days, a lyric mezzo is simply another term for a undeveloped lazy soprano vioce. most "mezzo sopranos" today are just soprano. dionne warwick and cher in her prime are REAL lyric mezzos! Britney NEVER had that richnes or output !

You can still see the same spark in her eyes sometimes when she performs a song she loves

You did good 😍 those two clips starting at 6:04, I think that’s my favourite “era” of her voice.
That D6 😍....really good video btw!!!
Thank you! The D6 actually kinda slaps kwfoodg
Coming back to remember Britney belted a freaking G5 on her Instagram 🥰
and it was really chesty too, that's impressive

Her voice is so rich and soulful when she sings in a lower register ❤️❤️❤️❤️
She just belted some F’s and G’s
1:31 3:55 her real tone...
6:04 her ALTO register break... (!!!)
A4 in head voice only for contralto!!!
loved it

thank youuu
Her B4 and C5 sound so good.
And I think maybe D5 is the highest she can mix after she signed the record deal.
Her voice suits the lower notes
E3 cool video. Are you a vocal professor?
Why didn't you include the sustained G#5 after she sang happy birthday?
There were many of those mixed exclaimations but I wanted to keep those out
