[Video] Bus Caetano H2.City Gold |

In October 2023, a video was made on a Caetano bus type H2.City Gold (No. 6208) of Rheinbahn AG Dusseldorf. The video was made between Dusseldorf central station and Dusseldorf, Lausward.
In Dusseldorf the fuel cell buses of type "Caetano H2.City Gold" entered service in October 2023.
In the fuel cell, hydrogen and oxygen react to form water, releasing electrical energy. The electricity generated drives the electric motor.
The three-door buses have 30 seats, 34 standing places and USB charging sockets under the seats.
The bus carries the 35 kilograms of hydrogen in five containers on the roof. The range is 310 kilometers. Full refueling takes approximately 15 minutes.
The Caetano fuel cell buses are located in the Dusseldorf-Lierenfeld depot and are used on line 732.

Unfortunately, this model has not given good thoughts when being tested by lots of spanish urban bus companies, because of the perfomances and higher maintenance costs instead of hybrid or cng buses...

Hab gehört, dass die Rheinbahn Ihre Caetanos alle wieder zurückgibt aufgrund von massiven technischen Problemen und zu hohen Standzeiten. Scheint wohl anderen Betreibern dieser Fahrzeuge ebenfalls so zu gehen.
