    Taps generally have a center for using spring loaded tap guides

    Craig because you have a cnc machine you could make this but all you needed to do was just drill a hole in the aluminum block straight thru the size of the o.d. of the 1 inch tap the block becomes the holder to keep tap straight for tapping
