You notice he does not call time out s thru the year. When he pulls the players over he would have to coach them which he avoids. He is not a coach but a smooth talking used car salesman that doesn’t know what to say to his team. He relies on compartment coaching and he is not a leader
Happy new year Kevin and Tre'shon. Best show on the weekly program. I really hope this continues. Also, man this team =/ again no Playoffs in a very winnable Season even after the strength adjustments of the schedule. At least we have seen some upticks compared to last season but as you pointed out, my biggest gripe with the whole Staff is the Evaluation process of Players and what works. Some really boneheaded decisions and baffling procedures.
Well said, the both of you well said 👏🏾👏🏾💯 thank you dearly for being the voice for us sad and depressed Falcons fans 😂😆……and let me not forget, Raheem Needs to GO!
Fontenot is an NFL scout guy. Hes the free agency. I believe he lets the coaching staff decide the draft picks, he just makes the moves needed to secure those picks.
The thought that they didn't want Washington to substitute personnel really sounds bad when you realize that on the pass to Moody, Washington likely had its max pass defense personnel in there on that play. Therefore I don't see what change in personnel they would do after the catch if a timeout was taken. If any it would be minor. It's not like Washington had it's goal-line heavy defense in there on the pass to Moody.
Go back and watch that play when they didn't call the TO and listen to Morris respond. They got the look he was gambling for. Mooney was WIDE ASS OPEN but Penix missed the throw. I don't buy some of these takes they would of gotten better look if they took at TO. Not true. They got the best look that play but missed it. It was a stupid gamble which he shouldn't of taken but he had reason and was right.
The problem is the order of operations. With sub-1 minute, the #1 priority is the clock. Always. Morris got too focused on the matchups and cost the team 2-3 plays. I get that you like the matchup and you'd love to hit that play, but things go wrong sometimes. That's why you focus on getting as many plays possible versus the best look on one play.
@@TheFalcoholicLive 100% agree. I don't like that he took the gamble and didn't prioritize the clock. He took a more analytical approach to give them a look they gambled they could hit but didn't. He basically bet green playing roulette which you shouldn't do in that situation but they did get the look they gambled for.
@@Dankbanker-i2cTHANK YOUU!!! We can cook him for the other error, but this blindful ignorance of that one detail is why no one takes our fans seriously.
Nobody is still not talking about the fact that Mooney didn't go out of bounds on that play. If he did, there wouldn't have been a need to call time out. In my eyes Mooney is the reason we lost that game. All he had to do was keep running to the sideline, instead he turned back inside and the clock kept running. Mooney was the weakest link!
Tre’Shon is what we in the MMO world call “BIS.” Absolute stud, great blend of humor and insight. Man knows ball and fits perfectly right here on my Tuesday mornings. Great addition. Nice job, Falcoholics Anonymous 🙏🏼
Thanks for keeping it 1000 perspectives analysis on this team. In my Coach Herman Edwards press conference WE PLAY TO WIN The GAME! Thus, Coach Jim Mora Sr press conference PLAYOFFS... PLAYOFFS.... how about we just win a game. Better luck next year. Some major changes better happen otherwise loyal day one fans are not going to be at the Mercedes Benz stadium. I think Coach Raheem has lost the locker room. Sunday night football game was theirs for the taking and Out running the South mantra BS.
I have come to agree that Raheem screwed it all up, but I stand by my point. No one who will be ready made to succeed will want to come here. Whatever we want to say about the saints and cowboys, their fans are WAAAY more stable and supportive. It's why they always get the good coaches and we get the up and comers.
@TheFalcoholicLive I respect that you know more than I do about the falcons. That being said, I've been told by coaches that with all things equal fanbases do come into account. Your family will be in that city as well
He wasn't at the press conference because they were probably thinking about firing him and at the last minute he didn't get fired that's literally what happened trust me I know.
Ive complained about Dahlman for 3 years now and people always wanna tell me hes top 5. Well he gets destroyed by power rushers and he cant snap the ball consistently. He used to snap it at Mariotas feet, now he blows them over guys heads and forgets the snap count. Hes not worth shit. Low grade center, hardly worth paying a big contract to.
He’s a bad snapper, but an elite run blocker. That’s why people like him. This is supposed to be a run first team, so he fit. But these snaps are death blows in big moments
Think the whole OL is a little overhyped. They are good o-line but they are very suspect in pass blocking and key must win plays. They beat up on suspect teams.
@@Dankbanker-i2c the OL as a whole is really good, especially if you lived through the Matt Ryan years. they all have their weaknesses though (except for lindstrom lol), but they are borderline top 5 in the league as a unit.
@@lavs8696 They are great against suspect teams. That's my whole point, everyone keeps saying they are some top 5 elite unit. They are not. They are one of the best outside zone running teams but bottom 15 at pass blocking. How many hold penalties did we give up this year that killed drives? How many times did we fail to convert key plays because of getting beat in pass protection? They beat up on mid teams and then struggle against playoff teams. Overall yes they are better than lines in the past but pump the brakes on this being an elite top 5 o-line.
@@Dankbanker-i2c PFF consistently grades them top 5. and no way theyre bottom 15 in passing. they give our QBs more than enough time. this isnt college, if you watch other OLs QBs rarely have a clean pocket as often as we do. only difference is both of our QBs aren't too mobile in the pocket compared to others. all that said, dalman is not worth what he is going to get paid, especially since you have Neuzil on the bench. I would be OK with passing on McGary's next year for cap savings if you address it with a top pick next year. Lindstrom and Berg are probably the best guard duo in the league though.
I ain't defending Raheem but calm down. 9-8 is not a failure. It's an improvement especially when we've been complaining about 7-10 for the past couple years
It's a failure because this division is the weakest in the league. It's a failure because we still continue to play down to the competition. The team we swept is literally about to lock up the division this Sunday. There's no excuse.
@Pharaoh- I actually did, but you're obviously too stupid to get it. It's not an improvement when you coach yourself out of a playoff spot. Arthur Smith was the same way in out coaching himself in winnable games. Nothings changed, we're yet again out of playoff contention. $80+ million to win 1-2 extra games WOOOOOOW. Mike Smith gave us 5 consecutive winning seasons out the gate with a playoff birth in his first season. So yeah...... I'm not impressed with Raheem.
You guys weren't saying these things in week 9 and now in hindsight have all the answers. Tre'shon must have lost some money cause this almost sounds personal with him.. lol
An example Drew Dalman Is anything going to happen to him no he's going to be out the the very next game no accountability at all I'm start to believe the head coach can't do anything to do with football players he has to run everything by TF.
Arthur Smith would do more with this roster. You can't even disagree with this truthfully. He had Ridder at QB. Give him the QB's and second year Bijan and tell me I'm wrong. Take it however you want. I'm still not a fan of Arthur Smith but I have never believed in Morris as a head coach.
You're correct unfortunately. Raheem isnt a good HC either. The falcons always get decent coordinators that arent good HCs. Good coaches dont want to come here. Probably because of Rich McKay
Blank needs to fire McKay/Morris/Fontenot. Loyal fans are tired of paper pushing bureaucrats who care only about mediocrity and profit -not winning 🏆. Second option: Blank needs to sell the team. Fans want a 20th century owner who loves the game and wants a Super Bowl trophy.
Somebody please admit that from McKay down to Morris is an absolute failure. What big name players would want to come here? They're not firing anyone and nothing wiill change for the foreseeable future. Zero accountability as usual and people wonder why lifelong fans are tired of this? But hey, the "culture" is great 👍.
I don't think it took "guts" to pull Cousins 2 weeks after it was obvious he was no longer capable of starting. Guts would've been pulling him after the Vikings loss.
Derek Carr and Alvin Kamara could play against the Bucs this week! The Falcons may still have a tiny bit of playoff hope. Come on saints help your boy Terry Fontenot out! :)

Yes Tre'Shon, Kevin Tuesday takes are awesome!
I quite literally look forward to these Tuesday shows with Treshon. I dont have any falcons fans in my area to vent to. So this does the job lol
