      I know! We thought about it after, but we were so stuffed even with what we had, we figure we will do the hotpot next visit!

      My belly didn't hold enough to thoroughly enjoy just the BBQ portion. I definitely would have missed out on most of it if I added broth.

      I just went for the first time and we got both, but man we were way too stuffed by the time we were done with the hotpot to really eat any of the BBQ. It can maybe be done if you're ravenous and prepare for it 😂 but it is a LOT of food and it's easier to just do one

    I've never been to KPot, so thanks for the review. It looks amazing - so definitely adding to our list of places to visit. Looks like A LOT of food!
    Love Teppan Edo - the chefs are amazing and really put on a good show. Definitely on the pricey side - especially now Disney is raising prices across the board AGAIN (what is in their mind? People are already not going. I don't get their thought process). Thanks again for the review. Be well.

    • @Dillon.Thomas
      @Dillon.Thomas  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Honestly, for the price, and it being all you can eat.... It was a TON of food! You should definitely try it out, we plan on going back soon for the Hotpot for sure.
      We definitely plan on trying Teppan Edo at some point, it's just so hard because of how much more pricey it is over another Japanese Steakhouse. But I have heard a few very good thigs about it. Also, those price hikes... unreal... Definitely will have to chat about my thoughts on it in an upcoming video. There are so many price increases year over year at the parks, and this time literally just about EVERYTHING. Not a great hit to the fans or the vacationers.

    By the way just so you know (I'm not trying to sound snobby) those potato looking squares at the start of the video are diamonds radish kimchi. They are a lot sweeter and spicier than normal kimchi.

    Hiya Dillon, Hibachi at Epcot is great, we have eaten there several times - but it is pricey (so normally my parents paid) But then with three kids, everything can get expensive.
    Korean BBQ is wonderful - and Hot Pot is also great - but for Hot Pot I would recommend finding a Chinese place that has a large buffet style (much bigger then the bugget in the video) with noodles, veggies, etc - although meat would be more a-la-carte. If you ever come to NYC, let me know and we will take you to Chinese Hot Pot - LOL!
    Cool to see other stuff in the area. Do a video about Legoland if you can at some point - if you are trying to spread out on topics.
    -John
    PS: Looks like we will be down in April.

    • @Dillon.Thomas
      @Dillon.Thomas  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello! I definitely want to try the hibachi at EPCOT, but that price tag is rough, since you can definitely get it cheaper at all the other locations outside of the park.
      I didn't realize there were Chinese BBQ's as well haha, we may need to try and look for some of those options around here! I really like the idea of the hot pot vs the bbq style. So I'm excited to try that as well. If we make our way up to NYC, we'll definitely have to let you know! I've only ever been to New York once in my entire life haha.
      We've talked about Legoland, actually! But I've heard without having a kid, you can't actually buy a ticket and get in. I don't know all the details to that, but I have heard that once upon a time. But I think it would be a great thing to showcase for people. So we'll do more details on it!
      April will be a great time to visit, I know springbreak crowds are around, but it's still great for weather!

    enjoyed the video i love k pot it is a better experience going with someone who is culinary inclined to give insight on some dishes and methods you can construct some traditional like using the lettuce to make wraps with the kimchi and bbq and cooking methods but the experience is still fun new sub!

      It was a ton of fun! We definitely plan on doing some hotpot next time. That looked so good, I think we like the noodles in our dishes, too. Do you and your fiance go to a lot of the korean BBQ/hotpot locations around?? I'm sure there's a better way to "do it" also. It was just unfortunately our first time, so it was overwhelming, but fun!

    • @anh-huytran6312
      @anh-huytran6312 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @Dillon.Thomas all the time. We go a bit too often. We go to a lot of buffets in general. But kbbq and hotpot are places we look for. There are just so many options, especially when it's your first time. We have some all-time fave spots like bulgogi house for kbbq. Best kbbq for the price and authentic quality. Hot pot wise I would say, is juicy pot and 818 hot pot and kbbq. There are so many options out there.

    • @Dillon.Thomas
      @Dillon.Thomas  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@anh-huytran6312 Oh wow, so there's a number of places that are specifically just Kbbq or just hotpot? That's great information! We will have to try some of those locations you've mentioned, we don't typically do any buffets. I feel like most of them feel not very good in terms of food quality, but maybe there's better options out there outside of just the golden corrals lol. Thank you again for those recommendations!!
