Of course it is not anymore "complete" as there were at least 2 other CDs issued since them . Your title "warner legacy" is much more appropriate and Warner should be cautious before calling a box complete as it is misleading for the collectors. Are you planning to talk about the new Paul Paray Mercury boxes? The seems to be quiet elusive on the market...

Let's hope Cyrus Meher-Homji at Australian Eloquence brings out Kyung-Wha Chung's Decca recordings as a boxed set. That will be a keeper, as is this Warner box. I don't think she ever made a poor record.

There already was a Decca box. Perhaps it will get reissued someday.

I was lucky enough to hear the three Chungs together in Beethovens triple concerto somewhere around 1982 Mastro@@DavesClassicalGuide. Do you know if they ever studio recorded it together as they did with the chamber stuff in the Warner box?

@@igorgregoryvedeltomaszewsk1148 I don't know whether it is a studio recording or a live one, but there is a recording of the three Chungs preforming the Beethoven triple concerto. It is included in the big Kyung-Wha Chung box on Decca, but the actual album cover indicates that it was issued originally on DG.

Thank you for the info@@richardsandmeyer4431 it could be fun to hear them again. After the concerto Myung conducted Mahler's First which was also my first live experience of that work (I was around 17). It took place in the renowned classical "Odd Fellow
Concert Hall" with its warm reverberant "woody" sound, which alas fell victim to a fire a few years later, never to be rebuild...
