Regarding Astra's W-Engine Most of her F2P alternatives perform quite similarly. I forgot to include Bashful Demon in the video, but after some testing the average clear time for R5 Bashful Demon with the same team as in the video is 53 seconds Since the clear times are quite close my recommendation is to use whichever option you have at R5 among Kaboom / The Vault / Bashful Demon. Other option, you can grab the maxed W-Engine from a previous support if you’d like to save resources.
I rarely felt lacking energy when using her non-signature, there's some times i switch to Astra because i lack of energy but it rarely happens unless i make some mistake, like not holding Burnice's Ex special long enough to fully refill her bar before switching to Yanagi so i switch back to her again which cost some energy. Using her sig make it less punishing in the scenario

Eve, Lighter, and Astra team is going to be so strong. Just the sheer amount of buffs Eve will get from this team is insane. Like, 1.2k ATK from Astra and 75% fire damage bonus from Lighter basically cover everything she needs, now add the rest of the buffs she can get especially if they also have sig w-engines. 💀 I can see why Ellen's additional ability being inactive with these two is irrelevant lmao.
@@jjcalydon with Lighter's sig she gets 75% fire damage, 35% fire crit damage, and everything tagged by Lighter gets 15% fire res shred. All that plus a 3 seconds longer stun window. It's frankly ludicrous.

I'm so conflicted. She makes every team monstrously strong, but I'm not sure how much I enjoy the idea of an agent I don't actually fight with. I get that turning your team from 3 agents to 2 + 1 makes it easier, but I don't necessarily WANT it to be easier. The swapping and the like is part of the fun. Great showcase all the same though.

In a game like HSR where all the gameplay is just your math versus theirs, every unit is fundamentally indistinguishable when judged by the tactility of their gameplay. Not so in Zenless, where the combat is both overwhelmingly appeal, and a product of each agent's nuances. When you factor in the limited resources inherent to gacha games, it just feels like a poor move to pull a unit defined by how little they do. Astra is just too good on paper, but too boring in practice. It's a conundrum.
Tbh I enjoy seeing more than one agent on field at the same time so astra is perfect for me. Also I love you perfect dodge, way more than switching so she's perfect for me
@@professorcryogen6419 yes but counter point, even in a traditional attack,stunner, support, most of the time youll be keeping your main dps on field while your other two only swap in for assists and deflects anyway. Astra makes combat more fluid with the seamless swapping that everyone really gets a chance to shine even outside of deflects or buffs.

I have found grace to be pretty synergistic with miyabi if yanagi is needed elsewhere. grace inflicts anomaly real fast & unlike a regular disorder team, miyabi does not need her to be strong. she just needs disorder to happen to charge her judgement cut. I was so glad to notice she's saved from yanagi powercreep by yanagi's best friend.
15:50 tbh i don’t know if Astra is good for Neko or not yet, but looking at your run, there are improvements you could make. Neko needs to activate her quick assist to maintain her buff if you can’t dodge attack with her, but from the run you did Astra change quick assist into chain attack instead. I might be mistaken, but that ult and skill you did with Nekomata doesn’t uses her 60% damage buff. Also can you tell use which Shiyu defense this is? I want to know what the buffs are, if there are any.
His neko do the same dmg with my Star Engine Ceasar/Nicole Neko, so yah, thats a lot of dmg lost 🙂. He missed the buff 60% dmg bonus for the biggest dmg combo, the first wave should be cleared with stun from ceasar and neko chain attack as well, the quick assist messed it up a bit, time clear can be in 7:25 or better if the buffs are optimized

Best showcase/review I have yet seen. Genuinely answered every question that I had, great stuff. I think she will be best for my S11/Lighter team. Rina can keep chilling with Miyabi and Burnice since that team focuses on PEN ratio with my build (M2 Burnice). That way I don’t have to swap discs on my Miyabi lol

So maybe you could have killed the Boss in the stun window and that would mean the run would be pretty good. The time would be around Ellen time. So that would mean Neko + Astra looks pretty good?
Probably M0S1 from looking how they played, during stun period they bothered to attack the enemies from behind, if it’s M1S1 or M0S0 they wouldn’t have done that. unless the player just forgot how to play her, because surprisingly amount of players thought that the back attack bonus is her core passive lol. The thing that bothers me with Astra is that she change quick assist into chain attacks, unless it still counts as quick assist this might mean Neko can’t utilize her core buff during stun period effectively.

quick assist will always trigger for the next agent, means if Astra is on 3rd slot, the agent on the 1st slot will have quick assist triggered. This goes for all supports that has quick assist as well. for simplicity refer to the table below: Slot 1 support, 2nd slot main DPS Slot 2 support, 3rd slot main DPS Slot 3 support, 1st slot main dps As a side note, for defensive assist, the order doesn't matter since you can choose which character to come out.

What you though about Hypercarry M1S1 ZhuYuan, Nicole and Astra? My account doesn't have 5 star Stun and i've using Caesar alongside ZhuYuan and Nicole blasting the enemy 😂 and i never have a problem in Shiyu defense
I think Miyabi and Yanagi are gonna be the best for Astra and especially since anyways Miyabi goes well with Yanagi to help build Miyabi's stacks and stuff. Astra would buff them and make Miyabi even stronger and Yanagi too and even tho Astra's healing with her ult is not insane its still good she's the first healer in the game so I think she's a must pull for me because I have Miyabi, Yanagi oh yea got Burnice and Im planning to get Ellen too since I dont have her but I think I should go with the Miyabi, Yanagi, and Astra team seems like its gonna be powerful

Sadly, there is no "good replacements" for now as Miyabi really want that disorder proc. The only one i got in mind are grace who can apply shok pretty quickly, a piper built specificaly for disorder (pretty much no damage, only focus on anomaly mastery and energy regeneration) and maybe a Nicole on AM to proc corruption with astra. I dont see anything else to work. Just my opinion though, i could bebwrong. Hope that helped you.
Yes, it's R5 KTC and Vault. For her Engine, it depends. The value of her W-Engine is that it reduces the need to farm a lot of ATK% substats for her, while also making energy management easier. It also allows building Crit on her so her ultimate more damage (usually for speedrunners). In most scenario her W-Engine is more into Quality of Life improvement instead of damage increase so if you prefer QoL improvement like ease of farm, easier energy management then it's a good pull, but if you're able to farm a bunch atk% substats and able to execute good rotation especially in a team where messing up a rotation is a bit punishing (like Harumasa, Zhu teams or Yanagi Burnice) then it's safe to skip
@@ebiooo better get M2 Miyabi if your main concern is damage regarding Miyabi team but if it's for a second or third team, Astra would be a great addition. Well, we'll have 30 free pulls and lots of incoming events so it's safe to say that after getting M2 Miyabi you'll at least get a copy of Astra even if you lose 50/50
@@ebiooo tbh, clear time really depends on the players skills and rotations but If you're using Miyabi ( with any anomaly agent) you can't go wrong with either Caesar or Astra. If you're having a hard time dodging and getting hit a lot, Caesar is the best choice for you since her shield is pretty busted you can just unga bunga the enemies while her buff and shield are on. But if you're skilled enough and want more damage buff to clear contents even faster, I'll pick Astra bc her ex and ult let you spam quick/chain attack and trigger anomaly faster and bc of that you can trigger disorder with higher damage than usual.
Yes, she retains full buff from Astra as long the buff is not expired. However i'm not 100% sure if she retains the buff from 4pc Astral voice disc or not
The strongest meta is 2 supports + Miyabi for most battle modes and situations even against enemies that are resistance to ice and electric. Not real Miyabi, Astra and Miyabi. Try Nicole, Astra and Miyabi. Next patch we should have ice support, so either ice and ether support plus Miyabi or Miyabi , Ether anomaly agent and (either ice or ether) S rank support.

My account doesn't have 5 star Stun and i've using Caesar alongside ZhuYuan and Nicole blasting the enemy 😂 and i never have a problem in Shiyu defense
Dont use caesar ult, it doesnt do much damage or daze. Her defensive parry does more daze iirc

I think Miyabi and Yanagi are gonna be the best for Astra and especially since anyways Miyabi goes well with Yanagi to help build Miyabi's stacks and stuff. Astra would buff them and make Miyabi even stronger and Yanagi too and even tho Astra's healing with her ult is not insane its still good she's the first healer in the game so I think she's a must pull for me because I have Miyabi, Yanagi oh yea got Burnice and Im planning to get Ellen too since I dont have her but I think I should go with the Miyabi, Yanagi, and Astra team seems like its gonna be powerful

Sadly, there is no "good replacements" for now as Miyabi really want that disorder proc. The only one i got in mind are grace who can apply shok pretty quickly, a piper built specificaly for disorder (pretty much no damage, only focus on anomaly mastery and energy regeneration) and maybe a Nicole on AM to proc corruption with astra. I dont see anything else to work. Just my opinion though, i could bebwrong. Hope that helped you.

Yes, it's R5 KTC and Vault.
For her Engine, it depends. The value of her W-Engine is that it reduces the need to farm a lot of ATK% substats for her, while also making energy management easier. It also allows building Crit on her so her ultimate more damage (usually for speedrunners). In most scenario her W-Engine is more into Quality of Life improvement instead of damage increase so if you prefer QoL improvement like ease of farm, easier energy management then it's a good pull, but if you're able to farm a bunch atk% substats and able to execute good rotation especially in a team where messing up a rotation is a bit punishing (like Harumasa, Zhu teams or Yanagi Burnice) then it's safe to skip

@@ebiooo better get M2 Miyabi if your main concern is damage regarding Miyabi team but if it's for a second or third team, Astra would be a great addition. Well, we'll have 30 free pulls and lots of incoming events so it's safe to say that after getting M2 Miyabi you'll at least get a copy of Astra even if you lose 50/50

@@ebiooo tbh, clear time really depends on the players skills and rotations but If you're using Miyabi ( with any anomaly agent) you can't go wrong with either Caesar or Astra. If you're having a hard time dodging and getting hit a lot, Caesar is the best choice for you since her shield is pretty busted you can just unga bunga the enemies while her buff and shield are on. But if you're skilled enough and want more damage buff to clear contents even faster, I'll pick Astra bc her ex and ult let you spam quick/chain attack and trigger anomaly faster and bc of that you can trigger disorder with higher damage than usual.
So unlike caeser, if we swap cancel miyabi aka quick assist in astra yao comp, she retains the buff on her CA?
Yes, she retains full buff from Astra as long the buff is not expired. However i'm not 100% sure if she retains the buff from 4pc Astral voice disc or not

My Zhu Yuan team needs the buff but I’m not holding my breath here. I’ll toss 80 pulls at it but if I loose the 50/50 I’ll just save for my M6 Yanagi
The strongest meta is 2 supports + Miyabi for most battle modes and situations even against enemies that are resistance to ice and electric. Not real Miyabi, Astra and Miyabi. Try Nicole, Astra and Miyabi. Next patch we should have ice support, so either ice and ether support plus Miyabi or Miyabi , Ether anomaly agent and (either ice or ether) S rank support.
Astra Yao might be the easiest to build if all she just needs is attack percentage
