Those were the days!
I got my C64 with 1541 floppy drive, matrix printer and tape deck back in 1983 and I had it until 1990.

What is the little silver switch on the drive? I had a C64 and our floppy drive didnt have it.

Some floppy drives came without this switch. Very honestly, till now I don't know what it does.

@@StingyIT Maybe it's for switching drive number from 8 to 9?
