I miss the days when the first smack down was released. The grappling system was just a directional button and circle. Or you can kick them make the groggy and hit the directional button and circle for a whole new move set and that was it.
For real! All these reversal systems and move systems make the game clunky and slow and glitchy. I'd still play if all that was removed! Like implementing a "classic" feel mode for those who don't want all those systems or functions.
Except for the ring entrance animations the graphics and gameplay feels identical to wwe 2k15. Maybe they just don’t have the technology to significantly improve on that, but still, it sucks to see

Yukes backed out of 2k after 19 so this is a game they had to reboot from scratch basically. So 2k20 was not it. 2k22 was great. This got better! Cut these devs some got damn slack. The PS5 graphics are good but gameplay is worse. Pain (SmackDown vs Raw) is better than the 2K23 WWE. Also PS3 games were good compared to the PS5. My point of view PS5 really sucks
