I am a muslim, and i speak on behalf of my community. I request lallantop to cover this topic, muslims from last 10 years have been a victim of mental torcher. We have been called different names and being demonised. Why are we proving pakistan right? Why don't people talk about this? Why is my country 1st in islamaphobia? BJP accuses congress for muslim appeasment, TBH we are the most backward in terms of development. No one talks about us, we are slowly becoming untouchables of modern era. We are the people who have to always prove that we are nationalist. Lallantop please talk about it. Thanks

If you observe closely, this situation is due to the Congress party. They keep you in such a state to get free votes and never work on your upliftment. Just compare Muslims in Arab countries with those in India. They are not following many outdated laws that hinder development. On the other hand, the Indian government has made significant changes in Hindu laws. Now, when the current government wants to change these personal laws to promote upliftment, the Congress opposes it. Just compare the literacy rate of Hindu women with Muslim women. When a woman gets educated, the whole family gets educated. Opposing these changes only benefits the Congress vote bank.
I believe many personal laws exist, and I think Muslim personal law is the weakest. We have many communities, and no one questions why, because they are already in good condition and educated. They can't be used as a vote bank. Only uneducated communities are used as vote banks, so political parties play politics with Muslims. This is my observation, and I might be wrong.
