If u want a budget version currently theres a nadir engine u can use to boost consistency, also once bonfire is out as well as populus u could always just use the x3 bonfire, x1 ash, x1 populus engine to save urself some cash.

The card's effect didn't change whatsoever. All they did was clarify that it only works on cards on the field, but it was already doing that before. I can still make a video on it tho!
As a dino player looking to buy fire kings because of a similar play style I would tap into 3 ground xeno and 2 xeno meteorus as a 5 card extension package which gives access to Baronne and Chengying
well that isn't entirely true, the snake-eye engine post phantom nightmare adds infinitely more to the deck than the diabellstar engine, but yes, the structure deck itself is far from enough

there's a dogmatika version that's significantly cheaper
no substitute for the diabellestar cards at the moment, but phantom nightmare will allow you to live without that engine
