Such a beautiful song, the same thing with the movie. Vanessa's voice is soft and soothing, the angel wings suit the song and her. All in all, Perfect.
Agreed, the angel wings are brilliant. I like how they are just a costume, but then during the fantasy sequence the couple starts to fly and they become real wings. I also like that the wings do not flap but instead delicately flutter.

2021 and I just rewatched this movie. -M- and Vanessa Paradis are simply amazing, regardless if you watch it in English or French, they both perform incredibly.

So the guy who does the music in the French version of the film goes by '-M-' in the French music world. Honestly though, he should change his stage name to '-W-' because his whole discography is a W in my opinion from what I've heard of his music so far! they both equally good, the girl sings it beautifly regardless of it being french/english. (she did both) and sean lennon did great for the english dub of the flea kept to the similar vocal signature as M.
