FILM DESCRIPTION:
Jared Eamons, the son of a small-town Baptist pastor, must overcome the fallout after being outed as gay to his parents. His father and mother struggle to reconcile their love for their son with their beliefs. Fearing a loss of family, friends and community, Jared is pressured into attending a conversion therapy program. While there, Jared comes into conflict with its leader and begins his journey to finding his own voice and accepting his true self.

I'm not saying this is for every Christian, but many of the older Christian's I know, got their tattoos before they became Christian's. So a lot of times, they got before they even knew about the Lord.

This is my exact point also! Literally there are so many rules in the bible that have almost been forgotten by 'strict' Christians. However *some* still have hatred towards the lgbtq+ community
I know some who got tattoos WHILE they're still Christian. And I think a part of the Bible is also against haircuts and I've been getting my hair cut for years.

Those who struggle with identities and sexualities should NEVER be attempted to be converted. They should never be hated, judged or ridiculed. They should be treated fairly like everyone else in the world. Conversions for gays should not exist, ever. You are, who you are. Be proud and accept who and what you are. Never let anyone take how and what you feel away from you.

The pin up boy for Rugby League - Ian Roberts smashed every straight man he ever played against & even ended up signing for a team called the Manly Sea Eagles ... he came out in the 90s at the height of his career and was ostracised for it by some sectors of the sport but respected by teammates and competitors alike!!!
