Sadako's mind games are so underrated, just because she doesn't have a gimmicky attack that negates pallets or loops doesn't mean she's bad. She makes players second-guess themselves so much and gets them out of the game so fast with her ability to counter body blocking. I feel like people are really downplaying her strength which is unfortunate bc she's really so much fun when you play her strengths well.
Thank you! It's nice to see that not everyone is a 1 trick anti-loop pony who thinks that's the only viable way to play killer anymore. DBD really needs to reimplement some actual skill back into the game and I think they finally did with her. People have been hand-held with anti-loop abilities for so long they've either forgotten how to play any other way and/or refuse to learn because they want easy downs with little to no effort. I've been trying to say that she's being slept on, but keep getting slammed for it. I agree except I think she should have more strength in her non-chase pressure if she is going to be that kind of killer, condemned should be more threatening, apply more pressure, and be more debilitating. That is if she is going to have a bad chase that is

Scourge floods of rage and make your choice is amazing especially when you hook a survivor right next to a TV. Today I got the most value out of make your choice than I ever have.
I forced a condemned mori in my first game and I usually threaten it every game on two or at least one survivor. You have to make decisions that spread condemned. Discordance works really well for me on her. It lets me spread condemned through tv's to multiple survs at a high rate (especially against SWF with prove yourself). The threat of the mori is pure value and the mori is the cherry on top for me.
The reason why so many say she's weak is not just because of her lack of anti-loop, but because she relies heavily on catching people unaware which becomes harder to do as the game goes on. (Relying purely on survivor mistakes is why Wraith and Trapper are always considered low tier) She also seems incredibly reliant on a couple addons and builds to perform well at a high MMR which is just admitting at that point that she cannot be A tier. A tier killers always have some form of power to keep loops contested and in their favor. Huntress and Executioner are good examples of killers who can never be S tier because of their slow speed, but just by winding up their power make survivors play differently.
I think running her with perks that give her a bit more strength as the match progresses like Devour Hope/Pentimento could be a big factor to compensate for the times where survivors start being hyper aware and less likely to be snuck up on. You don't need to get the jump on them as much if they're exposed anyway.
@@caldw615 The issue then with that is relying on Hex perks. Hexes fucking suck unless you're playing a killer that doesn't need them in the long term to win the game. The lower it is the higher chance you have at her getting a free insta hit. The higher the stacks are the more you’re screen is staticky so it’s harder to see. The lower it is less or no staticky so it’s easier to see. The higher the stacks you have to worry about mori and constant managing your stacks. The lower it is no worries if mori and no constant managing of stacks.

I mean, she is an M1 killer that can remove her terror radius and can potentially teleport to a useful area _if_ the survivors don't remove her ability to teleport. Project like crazy. If a TV is available and you know a survivor is nearby, project. Then project again. Hit and run or commit to a chase if you need to contest their gen/ they are an easy down. Keep projecting. They will get condemned. When i play against Sadako, condemned is useless. When I play Sadako, I get at least 1 and often 2 survivors fully condemned. Just my advice. Make them worry about their condemned status. Use projection a lot.
I got a 4K with her my first attempt on mobile. she was level 16 and I was up to rank four for killer. Really didn’t understand her powers at all but I seem med to be doing OK. Even with brown add-ons.
ok but what does condemned do if they DONT interact with a tv? like you didnt explain anything about that part of her power other than "ya its not that good"
I really think people really need to watch coconut's video.... You can pressure survivors with condemn a lot more...it's actually a win condition (not a inessential afterthought). In my games I am consistently getting 1 to 2 condemn moris (and yes I'm high mmr). I know that getting kills with condemned isn't likely, but I got a kill with it every other game yesterday so it is possible
THIS GUIDE IS A W
When she attacks and that Japanese symbol comes out it reminds me of Phoenix Wright for some reason
I got a 4K with her my first attempt on mobile. she was level 16 and I was up to rank four for killer. Really didn’t understand her powers at all but I seem med to be doing OK. Even with brown add-ons.
ok but what does condemned do if they DONT interact with a tv? like you didnt explain anything about that part of her power other than "ya its not that good"
Dude late comment but great video damn
So far I've had a lot of games where survs didn't care about condemption. At least 1 kill a game
I think I’ve been doing this game wrong-
I’ve been playing Sadako and I’ve gotten a condemned Mori every game I play?…Could the game be glitched?
She's very powerful and was misunderstood around this time. Also buffs etc helped
I played against sadako and i purposely chose to get condemned bc i have masochistic tendencies for her sadly i didn't get mori'd
Honestly imo the best killer yet. She’s legit my new main and I hope she don’t get nerfed
I got a 4K with her first game with one perk she seems strong
@@tanderson1480 remember that not many know exactly how to play against her yet
@@stonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn of course I know survivors will learn how to loop etc and the kills will slow
tbh i find her alot of fun regardless of the outcome of the match
I really think people really need to watch coconut's video.... You can pressure survivors with condemn a lot more...it's actually a win condition (not a inessential afterthought). In my games I am consistently getting 1 to 2 condemn moris (and yes I'm high mmr). I think categorizing her as simply a hit and run killer is a fundamental misunderstanding of her kit and therefore her playstyle.
What’s the deal with her crouching over ? I’ve seen this twice now ? How’s that work?
lol im the one that calls “the girl from the ring”
I call her spooky sneaky ghost girl.
I was thinking of buying her ty
Why was Elodie’s health state always blinking red?
It's to indicate she was Condemned
Sorry I misinterpreted the question
Got my adept on her on my 3rd game was fun just teleworking to the on dead saloon
1:51 I’d be livid if I was that survivor.
When I use her the survivors just turn all the TVs off where I can't teleport around.
She looks really fun to play as.
So condemned is just the reverse beartraps... damn
How can I play sadako rising offline. I bought the dlc but it won’t give me any option to play the sadako rising
Brother it is 2024 Onryo is OP and I have done entire runs condemned only no sacrifices
Dowsey you're so good at explaining things! You should teach DBD at universities haha
Why would you manifest anyway?
u can’t hit unless you’re manifested
I’ve been having really great games with her. Can’t say I’ve had issues.
Why was Eloide flashing red the entire time
i saw the only buff need is the call of brine cause you manually have to kick gen so why not make the regression little more like 250%
Cause that would be OP and survivors take .5 of a second to stop a gen from regressing 🙄
Just got the game yesterday I've had none stop 4ks pretty much
that’s her mori if condemned then u can get an animation that kills like mori but it’s slightly differnt
Yeeeeah I need to watch this a couple of times it seems because I’ve been getting utterly destroyed while playing her the last few hours, like 3-5 hooks a game, 1 kill IF I tunnel but I don’t wanna do that.
Tbf literally everyone is playing her atm, so all the survivors are prepared for it. Wait a couple of weeks and it'll be a bit more chill in the lobbies.
@@LordOfLemon legit played 2 teams running 4 spine chills yesterday lol
Please can someone tell me why her ultra rare is actaully ultra rare instead of very rare? Normally they would change something about the killer like all of huntress' sounds where different but I can't tell what's different about this one. Pls help someone
MONEY
Can't wait to play her afterbwork.
This Wraith rework looks cool
Would this be a great build for her? BBQ, Tinkerer, Pop, and Discordance/Noed
call of brine is basically a much more powerful pop, the generato regresses at 175% speed
0:00
I call her Yoko Ono.
So because I'm already getting 4Ks I'm now Dowsey?!??!
Weird the Manifest speed is not the new speed
