- The great Dame Edna (Barry Humphries) launched her final Farewell Tour in Seattle, January 2015. She stopped, mid-rehearsal at the Moore, for tea and a chat with Art Zone Host, Nancy Guppy. This segment originally aired on February 6, 2015.

Ah, I loved seeing Edna at the "pokey little moore theater" with the "plunging paupers" from the steep cheap seats. Every year, my wife and I would go to a concert and 2005 had a dearth of them so I got us tickets to see a Steven Hawking lecture and Dame Edna. Wife had never heard of Dame Edna and it took her about 15 minutes to understand the complementing insults but she, and probably half the population of Capital Hill, loved it.
"You remind me of myself when I was younger. I used to try and make my own clothes, too!"

🇧🇷 Barry Humphries is a genius. It is amazing how he created a character so unique and original as " Dame Edna Everage".Do USA citizens- or others english language speakers- pronounce the initial letter " O" in the word " Opossum"? Because I only hear " possum"? If not, why? Why english language seems to be like a " lottery ": you NEVER know what is coming ( in the pronunciation's case) untill it comes. It is crazy. Honestly, this language should be much more simple. Why having letters in words if you will not use them? Pronounce them? Do you have or buy for you or your house things you don't use or are not necessary for you ? There is no reason to make a language that complicated. This is, with no doubts, a negative aspect. 🇧🇷
