Couple of cuties you two! Loved watching! I allways gave my stuff extra coatings then ended with an outer modpodge coat. I take used coffee grounds and dry them out and use them . Nice..no waste! Thanks for sharing sweeties!
Hi Anne, just playing catch-up with some videos of yours that I have missed. Cami is soo sweet you both look great. Would love to see more of the two of you together. Merry Christmas to you and your family❤
Paused video (in and out with doggie) your daughter is beautiful, I am loving this type of crafty video! Y'all look so happy together. Enjoy crafting! 👍
Nice to see mom and daughter enjoying crafting together. Makes me miss my mom since I had boys. You can still add craft paint wherever you want to cover any white showing after a layer of mod podge on top of the dried spices, you can also dilute the paint with mod podge to make the paint more translucent and grubby up the candle tip too. The deer are beautiful and you would pay so much for those in a store!
Fun watching the two of you together crafting. Great times! I think you are hooked! When I was young lots of decorations were covered with a velvety type substance of Whites, greens, and reds.
You crack me up Anne! You and I are so much alike in our “lack of graceful crafting”! 😂 That being said, I always love your brilliant ideas. I always get great inspiration and ideas from you. P.s. I bet your daughter was sooo thrilled when you brought in additional candles to prim up! Lol
Loved this video, you and Cami have lost so much weight, you both looked so festive. I'll be making the coffee candles for sure. Yes a crafting with Cami video now and then would be wonderful.
I love the crafts you've been doing I've made the candles with both coffee and cinnamon so they looked grungy and smelled good I used the technique on real candles also what a great mother daughter moment! Love it!!!❤❤
Love you two. I have a few suggestions foam brushes, or brushes from $ tree. Candles with silver base can be bought at $ tree also. Big bottles of cinnamon are there too. Check their ribbon and fabric. Happy crafting. Happy Holidays!
When you rip the fabric the first time, it will give you the straight of the grain and it may be thinner at the bottom as it finds the straight grain. Rip again and the piece should be the same the whole length. I also like to coffee stain or tea stain the fabric for a more worn look. Woven fabric will give you the same look front and back instead of printed fabric. only on 1 side. All personal choices of course, but just a little fyi. And I love them. Will try them. Merry Christmas to you both.
Many crafters use a combination of coffee, cinnamon and ground cloves . Gives the item a lovely fragrance and texture. If you want to be sure that the mixture stays , mod podge over the top of the initial coat after it dries. Also, it is MOD, not modge. Enjoy your prom content.
So happy to see you both today ❤ not sure if you have a price rite near you or an ocean state. You maybe able to get your cinnamon cheaper. Please do more crafts together ❤you both make me happy 😃 to see you both. Have a wonderful day today ☺️🎄
@@dellahayden5606 yes Ocean State is much cheaper and Cami gets a discount so then it’s really cheap… but she was working and I needed the cinnamon so I caved.
I think if you mix the coffee and the cinnamon and dust it onto the Mod Podge candle then when it dries you go back over it with mod podge and when that dries it will be sealed in and it will look much more grungy.
@@missbonimeduridesidns1793 good suggestion!! I left it alone because I didn’t want to seal in the smell however when I go to store them I’ll probably go ahead and seal them too.

A sifter might work for coating the deer..

If you pounce a coat of MOD PODGE over the coating when dry it will seal it in, You can also dip the flame in melted yellow or orange melted wax.
