Here is one simple adjustment...Either start McCain over Kelly or Yabu over Caleb...I don't like seeing Caleb and Kelly in there together...Also, need to dump Reggie( like yesterday) and add either Lonnie Walker (for scoring) or Markelle Fultz (Defender/Facilitator)...Also, Maxey can never be the only ball-handler in there...he is a score first guy...he does not probe the defense to make them shift...Maxey does not have the best court vision either (McCain or bringing Fultz in could mitigate that issue)
Can we please never, ever, ever play Lowry or Gordon more than 20 minutes and Drummond more than 28 minutes...Bc all of them drop off a cliff at those points. Get Bona's feet wet in meaningful minutes before Embiid comes back and he is sent down to Delaware. Get RC4 Some minutes too...and Dowtin, he could potentially run our offense better than Maxey or Lowry...Just saying, try something different...See Steve Kerr playing 12 guys by end of 3rd Qtr...At least the players will be keyed into the game if they feel like there is a chance they'll have an opportunity to contribute
Nick Nurse show himself who he was last yr and plus the playoffs.. I'm not surprised.. I hate to say this but Atleast Doc could win without Embiid.. This fool clearly needs Embiid to make him look good like Kawhi did for the championship run.
This roster has been better for 2 years now. Doc Rivers is better than Nick Nurse. Nurse has a good system for when Joel and Maxey and shooting is on the floor. He has no plan B. Call some damn plays. Lineups are a joke.
Ball movement, off ball movement, give and go, off ball screens, on ball screens...Not DHOs at the top of the key...so sick of that action...That and Embiid/Maxey pick and roll is all Doc did...its only valuable to get Embiid the ball because he's not going to get trapped up there and can see and get the ball to cutters going to the hole...where is the interior passing...who is probing the defense so they can force the defense to shift...nobody...Basics
