Thank you for the video! This is very very helpful. I am terrible at this game but love it and have been playing Boba/Yellow a lot I hope to switch to this list and see if I can learn to do better. I appreciate the power point format and breakdown great content!
Great video. Really salient observations. New Han Blue utterly wrecks. I totally struggle against it. Maybe Final Showdown is the key. I couldn’t push the final 3 points of dam through the other night before my board state collapsed. One more swing (I was pulling for a Surprise Strike top deck) would have closed the book. Thanks for this content!
Hi, great video - to the point and short ;) BTW - would you make any changes after analyzing the lists and decks from the Barcelona tournament? For example 1-2 tie phantoms in the main deck (a lot of blue/green)?
Awesome breakdown. I'm stacking up reps with this on Karabast and starting to see the lines of play better. Only problem is, Karabast can be unreliable/not useful reps. How do you get high quality matches when prepping for tournaments? I want/need to play against good players, but sometimes that's tough to find.
I’ve always been reliant on the local shops and meeting folks through those events. Finding those people you fit in with similar competitive mindsets builds a strong team and stronger friendships. You all get better the more you play and talk about the games.
I don’t think frozen in carbonite fits too well in this strategy. Committing 3 resources to a removal spell that doesn’t get a unit off the board (especially a sentinel) on the boba flip turn is a little awkward. I think if we wanted an effect like this adding some more relentless pursuit would be a better fit.
What do you think of the new blue Han deck? (I mean the new red Han hero) How difficult is the deck to live with or is it worth preparing for separately?
In my experience the matchup isnt too scary, played against two or three of them at gencon and a bit locally. Space based plans are pretty strong against them and many of their units are weak to the return to hand effects this deck plays. Gets a bit more challenging if they are playing village protectors and if youre playing against that card in your local scene it could be worth having more access to relentless pursuit. There will be games you get pillaged a few times and those can be dicey as well. Really important to focus on keeping the cards most important to your game plan. Thanks for watching!
You say you dont want to be attacking their units? Set one Boba yellow did for his ability to trigger. Are you saying this deck doesnt care about that?
You’ve got plenty of access to those types of turns with the waylay and bouncers so it lets you pressure more with your units on that key flip turn. Not attacking their units is more of a general strategy where you want to be pushing damage more-so outside a profitable leader deploy turn. Typically with the cards the deck has access to, having one of those bounce cards makes the flip turn a lot more consistent and not making you sacrifice damage on their base. Thanks for checking it out!
@BasedChopper I played set one Boba yellow differently but still aggro and won by 6 resources. I think I'm main decking tue phantoms but it's the same shell
Solid yeah, the phantoms are a great tool to have access to. Been playing with them a little more myself with how the meta has been shaking out since this event.

Nothing is more frustrating than trying to get that last little bit of damage
nice video, very well made guide. :)
Thanks!
Nice
Super cool video, love the presentation. I hate rey and force throw 😅.

New content with changes on the horizon!

I love this deck so much. 7-2 after 3 locals. I need to practice against the Blue control decks like Qira
Upping your space game helps there. Such a good deck!
@@BasedChopperare there any updates you'd make with the current meta?
This game seems really fun, I hope to get into it one day!
Thoughts on maybe finding space for a frozen in carbonite (or sideboard)?

@@BasedChopper True - there's already so many good 3 resource cards! Thanks

Would love more pointers for the villain blue/green match up
