Nice video Liz! If you are going to use thread lock on the jack threads, use the blue kind (version) . The red is permanent and very hard to remove. The blue is just as effective but can be much easily undone. I think it is safer to reduce tension on strings before tightening the truss rod. As someone commented below, it sometimes takes a few hours for the neck to actually adjust depending on how old and when the rod was last adjusted.

Yes, blue or semi permanent Loctite. Just a dab. Better yet, they make a version that comes as a stick, sort of like a glue stick. A little dab on a toothpick in the thread and you are good. It won't back out, but it will undo if you want to remove it.

I like Tri-flow to lube my tuners. A small allen wrench will hold the jack while you tighten it. George in Montana

Red lock tight on end pin jack...inside nut...lock it in place and the lock washer will usually hold forever.

I cant handle a mess of strings coiled or sticking up on my peg head. Maybe I'm to OCD. I have always been told to never tighten a truss under string tension. Have you ever had any issues doing that? Good video Liz.

Thanks, Liz. Question: when restringing, how do you find the hole on the tuner post and through the loop when you can't really see the hole? Currently I use a tooth pick through the hole and have the string push the tooth pick out. Been doing it that way for 50 years. Not sure how that would work with the over and under method. I cannot see it in your video.

I'm sorry, but i strongly disagree with the truss rod adjustment there. Any adjustment you make needs at least an overnight to have the neck nicely satisfied with it, and never EVER change the truss rod with tension on the strings!
