the trickstabber pubber arms race is evolving LOL, btw if you're moving your mouse randomly then you have no rhythm to your mouse movement, so you cannot react to your own mouse movement, so the spy will simply go around you because you're passive tracking at that point and you'll either keep doing that until they're around you or you're forced to react to them on rhythm, dont turn enough to that rhythm and you're still passively tracking them which can be countered by still strafing in the same direction, everything you said works on most spies, but spies will evolve and so will the pubbers, good video overall (: Edit: if you're running away from the spy then the spy can just run away from you and target your teammates
Idk, i feel like non spies talking about trickstabs is like people talking about ufos. None of them really get whats going on because a good spy isnt this ez to predict. There is a reason that even the best players get crapped on from time to time from spies, were usually a few steps ahead of people expecting us.
ive probably watched like 50 hours of trickstab tutorials back when i was trying to main spy. i never actually got good at him but i memorized a bunch of trickstab types and know when theyre gonna try one on me. now only get killed by spies when they can aim with the revolver
I’m a spy main and I think I’d be happier if someone just turned around and walked away. When spotted, it’s kinda the logical thing to try and escape, but if they just leave it makes it a lot easier to survive. It’s too bad people get the urge to chase down spies even when it’s not the ideal play
i use the coward's method: just assume the knife always backstabs and don't be in melee range
real

Watched (most of) this video then join a server with full confidence ill never fall for another trick stab. First death: matador :D
i don't even play this game anymore but i'm still watching this like i do lol
just play scout he has a hidden stat where he literally cannot get backstabbed
this line of thinking is exactly what results in scouts getting backstabbed
Peak comedy
but a good spy will still stab ya anyway
Ok but what is the secret to not getting facestabbed?
turn your back to the spy so it's a backstab instead of a facestab
@@itchylol742 Can't argue with that
am spy main
