I first saw this video 11 years ago shortly after I was diagnosed with cancer. That diagnosis put a real crimp in my riding. Two years of treatment and I was put in full remission. I watched this video many times. It was a real encouragement and inspiration. I still watch it from time to time to keep my batteries charged. BTW I'm still riding!

I'm so very proud of you! YOU are inspiring! God Bless. I want to lose weight and get my but back on a horse! I don't have to do "jumping," but would just like to ride! I have been on the back of a motorcycle when younger and did ride a mini bike myself with my brothers, ha, but never rode a motorcycle myself. Really just want to get on a horse again. I wishyou the very best of luck! Love this commercial! Love the movie "Wild Hoggs" and again, so proud of you, as a mother of three, a nurse, an Irish American! "Born to be Wild!"

I'll be 80 two months. Since my wife died 4 years ago I have been doing virtually nothing. After watching this video I arranged to start physical training to walk across Canada after the virus subsides. A truly inspiring video! Brings to mind the old song,
I'm gonna to live 'til I die,
I'm gonna to laugh and never cry,
    Until my number's up
I'm gonna to fill my cup,
I gonna to live, live, live
    Until I die!

Start making a video of your training and then of your walk and then get it on TH-cam as inspiration for other 80 somethings! I've been taking my elderly neighbor to many specialist appointments and even thought she got a fairly serious diagnosis all the doctors are saying that losing weight and exercising will give her many more years of quality living. She thinks she's too old which is nonsense.

Unless ... think about it. My maternal grandparents died within a few weeks of each other, in their mid-90s. They were in a care home for their last few years, she had lost mobility. Every day he would get up and get himself ready and join the love of his life in her room down the hall, and spend his day keeping her company. At the end she became ill and spent a few days in hospital and died. He just gave up and died in his room a few weeks later. He would have hated to have died first, leaving her alone in the world.

We live in a small village community so everyone knows each other..n cannot stand her ....We live next door unless we're out working, her voice is all we heard every evening n weekends.. Her husband is the complete opposite. very soft speaking ,quite n is the nicest man of the village. One day the old lady fell ill n pass away. So suddenly that we as neighbor could even feel the loss bcoz the quite evenings. Everyday when i go to ( n come home from) work I saw her husband sitting on the porch deep thought... One day as I returned home from work, the old man had been cleaning up his place n help mow our lawn.. When I thank him for being helpful ,I won't forget his reply ..." I have to go ...she is calling me already , we ve been married for so long n her voice is all I heard for the past 57 yrs.
