There was a part where a parent was talking to the principal and he said that they had lost 2 students in the last few months and I was like wtf who was the other? And that's when I realized Jeff was only ever in flashbacks and I was not excited to see why cause Jeff is a homie deff one of my faves!

Brandon's portrayal of Jeff hit it out of the park. I feel his performance stood out. He is definitely one of the characters that stays in your mind. I watched both seasons 1 and 2.

i'm 30, so i'm an older viewer. i wanted to comment on the subtleties of this show. there's a movie called "donnie darko" starring jake gyllenhaal that came out in the early 2000s and it's my favorite movie. there are so many parallels and nods to donnie darko in 13 reasons. if you haven't seen it, please do! i think you'll be surprised at what you find...
