simply peerless the outstanding trio right now and for the last 10 years only Jarrett rides with this man....but Marcin his melodic construction simply in another league and a state of the art trio totally in step.... magnificent
Saw them first time 1992 in Leverkusen/DE at one of their initial International debut. We had some chat after the concert as Polish guys at same age. Had pleasure to meet them in concert following 25 yrs several times in different countries, also with the great Tomasz Stańko. For me one of the most consequent developing trios in global jazz scene with incredible touch of musical sensitiveness. Hope to follow them next 30 yrs...

Absolutely beautiful music from an ugly little town somewhere in Northern Poland,like a flower in a desert,let it grow!Jass from Poland is the most underrated.
I would never know they exist if they wouldn't show up at Ottawa Jazz Fest three years ago. Being also Poland I just wanted to hear some Polish Jazz. Well the critics called them the biggest surprise of the festival. Their collaboration with Joakim overgrew my expectations after a few listens of the album. Stanko is good but he has been around for a while. I'm from little town in Pomerania but the east side.
