The fact that TSC, a very small club with an official account that isn't even verified, pretty much unknown even in Serbia, managed to get to the big European scene, is quite impressive. Same goes for Čukarički in the EL

well even tough they are really unknown the only reason they got in the europa league and conference league is because of red star belgrade and partizan belgrade collecting enough points in the coefficient rankings so that those team got in there but they are bad so they will do nothing like TSC Got obliterated by braga in the champions league
But i still find it nice that such teams can make it in those group stages thanks to other teams in the country
as nice as it is, and both TSC and Cukaricki are great development clubs, they will only harm the Serbian coefficient that Red Star and to a lesser degree Partizan built over the past 5-6 years. This means that in a couple years (unless Red Star makes a deep Europa League run or something) Serbia will drop down and Red Star will lose their automatic CL spot that they had this and next season. unfortunately that's the case with nations like Serbia, Croatia, even Ukraine where only 1-2 clubs pull their weight and the rest just fill up spots and get knocked out of Europe easily. Associations like Switzerland, Austria, and Denmark have more balanced competition and therefore more of their clubs do well.

Just like Nantes did in 2022. They didn't qualify for UEL because they had great season in Ligue 1 they did because they won French Cup

Olympiacos had a bad season last year. If you look the roster then and now, its completely different. Last season we changed 3 coaches. Now we have a good coach, the one who reached Granada to the
Quarterfinals of UEL a few years back. We have also a way more good squad than last year. Ortega and Hezze were top players in the argentinian league. We have iborra who can help with his experience the team. Also we have El Kaabi who is a really good goalscorer (3 goals already with the club), Retsos is in a great form, Masouras is in good form as well, Fortounis is a big leader on the pitch and we also got Podence on loan who was a big part of 2019-2020 olympiacos team which reached the round of 16 in UEL. Plus Frieburg lost to Studard 5-0 recently and olympiacos's home is a true castle when the team is in good form. Its not easy to win us at home. I think youre really underastimate Olympiacos. I think they can hit even first place if West ham underperforms. This team is underated
Yeah. I truly think this year we will easily win the league (starting with sunday's game). I see no weak spot in our team. Maybe only our centerbacks could be more experienced. But up until now they have done really well (even with Genk, Freire showed in his first game that he can perform. And Retsos has been good this year, but with the national team he had a bad performance. Porozzo last year was terrible at France, and I dont believe he is a player that can perform well in Europe).
But, Ibora has been a dissapointment. He hasnt helped at all the team in these first games. At times, you even forget if he's even on the pitch. Hezze has been amazing, and crucial in transitioning the ball from defense to attack.
Olympiakos can definitely finish 2nd in the group, Freiburg is a good team but they haven't improved much while Olympiakos had a disaster year last season and signed good players and a good coach as you mentioned. 3 greek teams in the EL is actually impressive, I expect tough matches for their opponents.

Given that most Cypriots are ethinc Greeks (82% before the war of 1974, about 65% now) and their mother language is Greek and has been so for the last 4 to 5 thousand years, we thus consider Aris Limassol as the fourth representative of the Greek world in Europa League! You could be a superfan of the sport but unless you have absolutely no life and all you do is watch and analyze football games in every single European league, it's literally impossible. So for some he probably just looks at how they've been doing in their league and their history in Europe and bases how he thinks they'll do on that. How tf are you supposed to know about every team in every single league... following and having in depth knowledge on just one league is hard enough, honestly.
As English Football fans, I'm looking for the unusual way, where the Europa League Final this year, which was held at Dublin Arena, would be an all-English Final after 2019.
Even though we couldn't underestimate the likes of Bayer Leverkusen, Roma, Atalanta, Real Betis, and Rennes, all 3 English clubs have a good results and good squad depths that can achieve a good results.

I'm an aek athens fun and I'm here to tell you that apart from my club getting the greek cup and championship (we only won by 5 points) Aek athens has had a massive upgrade in general.
A new stadium in 20 smth years and a finally good manager. Apart from all that aek athens's class I superior to the other greek clubs and I'm not saying that because I'm biased. We also have a little star levi garcia who had been incredible the past season.
Moving on I find outragious your productions of the group of death not only because you put my club dead last but also because you put ajax third. Im not here to talk about ajax but damn! Panathinaikos beat marseile but aek is better than panathinaikos also marseile are in bad form now Brighton I don't watch the Premier leuge a lot but I'm pretty sure aek can get through them so my predictions are:1ajax 2aek 3brigton 4 marseile.

We can only get a fairer shot at passing this group if we cover our defensive gaps and our attackers get back on form. For the time being, I see the prediction to be a fair one man. Dont sleep on Panathinaikos. Although we lost to Braga we played brilliant in both of the games but the ball didnt want to go in. I believe we will continue in the Europa League

I still think that some teams would prefer finishing 3rd and play a Conference League play off game, rather than 2nd and play a Europa League play off match with a team coming from the Champions League.
Therefore, I think that finishing 3rd won't be as bad as it seems (more chance in the Conference league than the EL).

Getting knocked out in the el knockout is more money than winning the conference league
I get what you're saying, but I doubt any team would "prefer" placing 3rd in their group. Money wise, definitely not, but in terms of making a run and potentially winning it or making far, then yeah, I think a lot of teams will end up placing 3rd and still feeling optimistic. If upsets occur (and they always do), you can end up with some strong clubs in the Conference League. And whoever ends up in the Conference League from Group B will probably be one of the favorites to win it.

N°1 in a group with PSV, Sporting and Trondheim, Just missed out on 2nd place against Tottenham, Royal Antwerp and Rastgrad and topped their Conference league group.

You are underrating Olympiacos and AEK here. I know it's the greek bias that's controlling me, but I believe Olympiacos can definitely contest 1st place and AEK will surprise people and I believe will finish 3rd or 2nd.

Only 2 players from the starting eleven on last year's uel games are still first squad players. The others left. So dont take in account last season. Olympiacos is a whole new team now. And if you have seen Olympiacos in Europe the last 20 years, you know it can make damage. As for Aek, yeah, they were unlucky. I see them last although i think they can hit 3rd place
Realistically, AEK's only hope is to finish above Ajax, just because of its poor form. But AEK as far as we have seen this season, isnt as dominant as it was last year

Nice to see that you predict my Molde team finishing 2nd in Group H. I hope for that too. We had a slow start to the domestic season but has gone unbeaten for quite a while now, and even though we lost Brynhildsen to Midtjylland and Mannsverk to Ajax late in the summer window we've got decent replacements in and I'm optimistic for both the run-in of our league season and for the Europa League. We're also in the domestic cup semifinals where we meet level 3 side Kjelsas who have knocked out two Elite division sides on their remarkable run. But we should beat them and probably meet Bodo-Glimt in the final.
No way Molde finish 2 nd in group. Qarabağ is way better than Molde. Prob Bayer Lever is 1 st and Qarabağ 2 nd.

But hitting back after poor matches away has been our pattern in Europe this season, so I'm still optimistic regarding finishing 2nd. Bayer Leverkusen in the next match will be tough, but we have good chances both home & away against Hacken, so the home match against Qarabag on Nov 30 may well be a decider for the 2nd position. A win by a two goal margin will place us ahead of Qarabag if we finish level on points. I've bought tickets for all three home matches and looks forward to go home to Molde and see my team play at a European group stage. Hope to see some of you Qarabag fans in Molde on Nov 30, a voiceful band of away supporters will maximize a great atmosphere, like the Klaksvik fans did at the Ch. League qualifier. This group is pretty easy to predict, i think that the hammers will have an easy way to first place, Freiburg and Olympiakos will be a very interesting battle to see since Olympiakos have some stars on their team and Freiburg do have a pretty solid team aswell. I do think that Freiburg will go through but dont underestimate Olympiakos. And Bačka Topola, i really hope they prove me wrong but i dont think they will have a great time in their group

This is the hardest to predict group and these are teams with loud home fans and they will be their 12th man. Brighton should go through quite comfortably, no one sees aek go through because of course the country bias but they play beautiful attacking football, Ajax is kinda falling off and their best players left so I'm a bit concerned about them, but I think they will have a close battle and Marseille just kinda needs to jel more and they need to find some chemistry together. I wouldn't be surprised if I was completely wrong but this is just what I know
Group C
1. Real Betis
2. Rangers
3. Sparta Praha
4. Aris Limassol
This is a pretty lucky draw for Real Betis, i think they will go undefeated and i think they could aswell go 6/6, Rangers arent in theur best form currently, recently lost to Celtic, Sparta Praha could surprise us all and get 2nd and Aris Limassol wont have the greatest time in that group

1. Atalanta
2. Sporting Cp
3. Rakow
4. Strum Graz
Atalanta i think will go through easily and i think they will get first, Sporting CP are also a very good side with lots of talents, some of their best players left this summer but they still have a good enough side, Rakow is straight up bias bc i love polish teams so Strum Graz it is in last

I do not want to see that Lask kit anywhere near Europe so please no upsets. Liverpool should just 6/6 this group, I actually believe that union sg could win the entire thing and I think they will play really good football and Toulouse I think will keep it tight and try their best but I think that Union will go through

This group is a group that could just go south for everyone's predictions. Rennes should get first easily I think they have a solid foundation that could challenge for the title, Panathinaikos, the team I support, I think could do better than Villareal bc they are god damn awful and I really hoped they would keep Setien but they got another manager, Maccabi Haifa have a 12th man, their fans, which could just give them maybe a Conference League spot. I believe in my team,I know what we can achieve and how well we can do so I am expecting nothing less but round of 32

This is a pretty easy group aswell, Roma should get the job done in this group, Sheriff has upset many big teams and have done well in europe in recent years, Slavia has been consistently showing up in europe and doing their thing and Servette I don't think will have a great time

4. Hacken
This is pretty obvious, Leverkusen is first and water is wet, I think Molde can go through and I think their only challenge is Qarabag, and Hacken I think they will go out with a fair fight, and I think this will be a very entertaining group

Slavia last season was grate we scord 98 goals and conseaded 31 but becase in the Czech Republic we have a rule that whoever wins the basic part is automatically the first after the build-up in the points ladder

To be fair. Klaksvik eliminated Ferencvaros after 0-3 in Hungary. They were like 5 min or a deflected shot away in the very end from taking Molde to penalties just like Häcken. And only losing 2-3 aggregate to Sheriff Tiraspol.

Last season Olympiacos was the the worst Olympiacos in this century,
They indeed lose 0-3 the first leg. But on the second leg in Freiburg when they changed coach even if the coach didn't had a lot of time with the players, Took a draw in Germany while conceding a goal on dead time while playing with 10 players.
Olympiacos this season is way different, Have a total of 10 goals in 4 games in the qualification games. And already 10 goals in 3 games in The greek league.

Olympiacos created a superteam and they are playing extremely good. It was one of the worst olympiacos seasons when they finished 4th for me they are favourites. The only problem is that is a complete new team and their chemistry isn't so good but it seems that this wouldn't be a problem with the way they playing..
This olympiacos would've smashed teams like qarabaq and easily pass Freiburg the only danger is their chemistry that's why i wouldn't be surprised if they topped the group or finish 3rd.
