  • I made a Workshop trolly that fits my Bosch L-boxxes
    The Boxes i use are called l-boxx and they come in 4 different sizes. This trolly uses the small (102) and medium (136)
    l-boxxes :
    Small : amzn.to/2HSlXxu
    Medium : amzn.to/37XiGr8
    Large : amzn.to/2STHT1v
    X Large : amzn.to/37XkujU
    Update: I switched from the dowel pins to 3d printed locking brackets. You can download them for free here: www.thingiverse.com/thing:223...

    I know this is an older vid of yours, but I just bought one of those DeWalt multitools for an unrelated project and jumped for joy when I saw you using one here!

    In the future you will add a block of concrete at the back to stop it tipping over forwards. In the future perhaps you might reprise that locking mechanism as it was so clever and geometric and funky and .......easy to break into!

    Pretty awesome build. Looks like your shop Is in a similar neighborhood to mine. Even though I keep the shop locked, I have my big toolbox locked too, but haven't yet built a box like this for my L-boxxes. Thanks for the ideas.

      Probably should have just used a similar knob without the key, or leave the key in it I guess!

    Great work and ideas...do you think that thinner plywood will sag over time if the l-boxes are loaded down with heavier items?

    Could you provide some dimensions for the plywood used, the cabinet and drawer slide vertical spacing? What brand and model number are the full extension drawer slides? Terrific work, best I’ve seen.

    • @achappel
      @achappel  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Alexandre Chappel So nice of you to offer to make drawings. Just some simple dimensions would suffice - width, length and thickness of shelves, spacing of shelves, specific drawer slides used and inside width and depth of cabinet. That would save a lot of time and experimenting to find those critical dimensions. Love your work.

    Nevermind, I just saw your description update!
    If you have access to a 3D printer you should be printing a small baseplate that allows the l-boxxes to latch onto your base drawer plate. Here is the STL file: www.stlfinder.com/model/sortimo-l-boxx-clip/2944106/

    • @achappel
      @achappel  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Daniel Münch i wish! Hehe, no this one I can't remember what is, nothing as fancy as an altendorf. This video is from the previous workshop i rented a space at. So the Felder is the one that I currently own. They had an altendorf in the school I studied at, I think I use it in the moneycan or razor video :)
