- Second last day of the trip.
Woke not so early to take train toward Nara.
Arrive at Nara station around 9am. First stop was Kofuku-ji. Part of the place is under renovation. Paid entrance to enter to visit the golden temple. Then we stop for coffee break at starbucks before going to take a look at Isuien Garden and Neiraku Museum. Didnt pay to enter as found there's a free entrance garden just beside namely Yoshikien Garden. Spend some good time there to enjoy the vibe and peace.
We then move on to Tōdai-ji. It is a giant temple with several statues inside. Read up some of the history inside the temple and took some nice photo.
Its about lunch time so we had a stop at Satei Yusui 茶亭 ゆうすい to enjoy our special lunch. Ordered tempura, udon and a hot cold mochi dish. The mochi dish is very special and delicious.
After lunch, we continue walking to Kasuga Taisha to view the world heritage. There's mystery vibe near the area. And there's some wandering dear too. Spent some good hour inside the area before going back to city area to buy Nakatanidou mochi. Then we rode train back to Osaka.
The dinner place was reserved the day before so cannot miss it. 炉端と釜めし 五百蔵
After dinner, we took final stroll nearby shinsaibashi to view some chrismas decorated trees before going back hotel.
