Thank you. That’s a really good idea that I never thought of. It’s probably 100’ of tubing so I’ll have to break out the compressor but thanks for the suggestion.
Thanks. That was the beginning of last season. Its been fine since. I guess a little air was leaking because the hose was slightly stretched. If what I did didnt work I would try a thin film of silicone
How important is it to keep the spa water from going into the conduit that the spa switch is mounted in? Is it possible that my 1989 pool spa might have a discontinued smaller size spa switch that I can't replace? I noticed that the ones listed on different sites say discontinued 1" models, what option do I have if mine is a discontinued smaller switch?
@@cantweallgetalong I’m not an expert by any means so don’t take what I tell you as fact. But I don’t think it’s a problem if water gets into the conduit with the air switch. Mine is just screwed in, and it’s not water tight. I mean it’s probably not the best idea for gallons of water to get in there, but it probably wouldn’t matter at all. So my house was built in 89, and the pool probably not that long after. Recently replaced the air switch. (Might have made a video installing it on my channel. If I did I’ll edit this post with a link to it ). I simply bought one, and it fit, but not exactly. I didn’t even realize they were not all the exact same size but I’ll bet you’re correct and I bought a “new” size for my “old” threads. It was close but. It perfect. Almost like fine threads vs course thread pattern. It wasn’t like trying to screw 3/4” into a 1” pipe. I didn’t screw it all the way in, that’s all. And it worked fine all season. I would think you could probably get an adapter or hunt for the old size. I’m sure you can find one on eBay. Anyway good luck. I’m going to look into this. But you’re not stuck. You can definitely make something work. Edit. I filmed replacing the air switch but I just looked. I guess I didn’t put together a video. Sorry. I bought a similar one, and bought some tubing of the same size (I think it was 1/8 or 1/4,) and a male barbed connector. I extended the tubing about 6 inches cause it was in the conduit too far. Then I put the new bulb on the new extended tubing and screwed it back with difficulty. It’s sticking out about 3/4 of an inch since I didn’t want to cross thread the entire conduit (not that it really matters). It looks fine and works well. Thanks for the q

@@lenlevan623 and the water pressure is too much or the air bubbles are too violent? I've never had a pedicure so no idea how they work. I would start by contacting the chair manufacturer or looking for the manual online. I would think that both are adjustable.
My blower turns on by itself… how do I test? When I push the button on the side of the spa it turns off. But what is making it start all by itself? Thank you
Is it an air pressure switch like mine? I would unscrew it and see. If it Is, I would trace the tubing as well as you can back to where the blower is. I have a grey 4x4x2" box that I thought was electrical until I opened it and saw that was where the clear hose terminates at the switch. It may be as simple as replacing that part. Hi Thanks for the part#... so just to be 100% sure.. the spa bubbles go on if the electrical breaker is on... If I try to put the button inside the spa... it will not turn off... I have to shut off the breaker. Is this part inside the blower?? thanks Richie @@Samlol23_drrich
Disconnect the pump end of the tube and blow air through the tube to clear out condensation in the tube. the button may perform better.

Hello,
Can you show how to reduce air pressure for pedicure spa chair, please?
Thank you very much.
Unfortunately I have no idea what that is. Sorry. Maybe a splitter at the main blower to reduce the air pressure. Or a smaller air pump.
@@Samlol23_drrich Thank you very much.
